Clean lovely room. Bed should be on the opposite wall in order to actually see the water view from the bed. Breakfast was delicious. Found housekeeping staff to be very helpful. Making my commentary at least 200 characters I feel is excessive

This Hampton is consistently reliable , clean, & a terrific location to walk to the downtown area. Some of the staff need work on greeting customers. It would be nice to see an option for housekeeping to skip your room & a way to communicate that you do not want towels replaced ( as there is in other chains ) . Nothing against this particular Hampton as they all have the same breakfast but it needs revising ( eg add whole grain cereals not just the highly processed sugary ones ) .

We like this Hampton Inn and will stay here again due to its great location just a short walk to Commercial Street and The Old Port. Our room was nice, clean, and well equipped (but see below regarding temperature control). The desk staff was nice. They offer a fairly typical Hampton Inn breakfast, but it was better than average this year. Plenty of coffee and several food choices plus the staff was making a real effort to keep the breakfast area clean and well stocked. Parking is pretty expensive at this hotel. Nearly as much as we pay when we visit Boston. We'd give the hotel a five, except for the heating system. It was a bit cold in our room and the heating system would not respond to thermostat input. The fan was loud and just kept blowing cool air. We asked at the desk to have it fixed, but it did not get fixed while we were there. We reminded them again when we checked out, so hopefully the next guest will have better temperature control.

The room not as clean as in the past, the heat was noisy, no coffee in the lobby this morning. The door in our room was covered in what appears to be spilled coffee and the floor was sticky. The room needs an upgrade. Otherwise, we like the location!

Being a Hilton, I’m was disappointed with my stay. Tv remote didn’t fully function, there wasn’t a ā€œDo not disturbā€ sign to place on the door, no soap or dispenser in the shower, did not receive bottled water during our checkin or in the room, and the Hilton App didn’t work…..again. Had to check in at the counter. If it was a busy summer stay I’d cut them some slack, but being January these are small conveniences that the management needs to verify.
