My husband and I make annual trips to Belfast and have stayed at other properties through the years and enjoyed them all. This time I wanted the cottage experience and this place exceeded my expectations. The first night we stayed in the hotel because no cottages were available, but the second night they put us up in a large and well furnished one-bedroom cottage with an amazing view of the bay. We didn't want to leave! We had everything we needed to be cozy and comfortable. We especially loved having the option of an enclosed porch as well as an open deck because the weather was rainy and chilly. We loved having a full kitchen and living room, just like at home. The entire cottage village is charming and well laid out, the grounds are well maintained and the place is quiet and peaceful. Wifi was good, the place was clean, staff who checked us in were very nice, and just a top-notch experience overall. We are planning to return next year and for many years to come!

We booked a small cabin with a king bed down the hill and near the ocean. The cottage had lovely decor and lots of amenities that made our two night stay very comfortable. A short drive in to Belfast to the Lobster pound for a memorable dinner and then back to this lovely ocean front accommodation. The bed was comfortable and the water was hot. One of the most memorable stays for our Maine road trip.

The good: Friendly and efficient check in . Free candy Chocolates on bed. Location . Right on small beach good for combing Horse shoes and cornhole to play on large lawn Price was ok The (not so) Bad No mirrors except in bathroom You have a great view when standing on the deck . When sitting you are looking at the railing and your view is completely blocked. Pillows are very soft . Mattress was worn so every time my husband moved , he woke me up from the springs popping. The Ugly: Housekeeping every three days. No if, ands or buts. Even when we told the man at the desk that One blanket had an awful looking stain and I kept finding weird pills of some sort that kept rolling from somewhere (not mine). Not sure where from . We got a cheerful “sorry about that” nothing else. Also they have floors without carpet in the rooms so by the second night could have really used housekeeping to mop Likely would not book again. If you’re gonna have floors without carpet near a beach , you should probably at least mop or vacuum every day :(

This place was wonderful. Quiet relaxing and my dog loved it as well. Will definitely go back again. Very clean and the view from our room was amazing. Would like to rent one of the cottages when we return. Love the Maine coast. And the Maine people.

The landscaping is beautiful and the folks who own it are so warm and welcoming. We stayed in motel part with a king bed. The room was nice but bed not real comfortable and room had a musty smell like many ocean motels have. Door to deck was extremely hard to open. The views are great and it’s a perfect place to have a cabin on beach. Next time we will try for a cabin.
