2439 Fairfield A Bed and Breakfast

I came with my daughter, who is 12 years old, on the way to see Taylor Swift in New Orleans. She is a HUGE Gilmore Girls fan, and I was hoping to experience a bed and breakfast similar to the fun on Gilmore Girls. This did not fall short! We loved all the details, and the small intimate feeling of the home. Jimmy and Brian were welcoming, friendly, and made us feel at home. Breakfast was also delicious! We are thankful our first experience at a bed and breakfast was a memorable one.

We spent 2 nights and loved every minute! Jimmy and Brian were over-the-top with southern hospitality, great southern breakfasts (where do I began describing the home-cooked delicacies), and their attention to detail in every room and porch! If you’re spending time in Shreveport, this can’t be missed. Thoroughly entertaining and comfortable. Can’t wait to return!

What a great place to stay. It is a real B&B experience! The rooms have antiques that are very nice and the breakfast is totally amazing! The owners are interesting to talk to and have a knack for customer service. The B&B is too unique to miss - so if you are traveling through the area this is the place.

A beautiful, serene, thoroughly pleasant experience, attributable partly to the lovely gardens and stately mansion, but equally to the warm but unintrusive hospitality provided by the proprietors, Jimmy and Brian. Their breakfast was nonpareil, but their friendly and welcoming manner was what will bring me back when my travels take me to North Louisiana again.

We wanted to try something different instead of the casino hotels and I'm glad that we did! The owners are beyond accommodating and the brunch was wonderful! While we ate Jimmy gave us a history lesson about Shreveport and suggested a few other things to do besides gambling, very much appreciated. Although we did not make our own coffee, the setup they have provided upstairs is very cute. We did however, sit on the patio early in the morning. The neighborhood is very very quiet. With this being our first bed and breakfast we didn't know what to expect. There is something to see in every corner and the appreciation of the historical China, to the look and feel of the rooms, to all the plants and outdoor seating was definitely 5 stars for me. I highly recommend staying here, Jimmy and Brian made this trip very memorable!
