Best Western Plaquemine Inn

Great service Clean and beautiful building, check in was fast, I received alert from customer service to check on my stay and needs, my only issue in room 315 was that the toilet runs if I don’t shake the handle and the train blow’s it’s horn several times at 3:00am, but I know it’s out the hotel control, just a heads up.

Overall, a good night stay. Began a little rough with a musty smelling room, but Akia , the day manager gave us a new room, which was perfectly fine. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was good, similar to comparable hotels. Hotel is very convenient to downtown Plaquemine. The only minor drawback to the hotel is that is very close to a major railroad line and crossing. An unusual amount of noise from the train whistle.

Pillows are ok... I enjoy the peace and quiet and the attentiveness of the hotel. Breakfast is always good and the rooms are always in good conditions. Ofcourse every now and then you get a funky room but they make sure to put you in a better one for your comfort and that is appreciated.

Room was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The morning breakfast was very enjoyable. The early checkin procedure made check in go very quickly and smoothly. The only issue is that it’s near the train track and you can hear the trains pass through a couple of times at night . But overall I would recommend this motel

This property is always very clean, with ample parking and a variety of breakfast selections. The breakfast lady was sweet, with great service and our housekeeping team was very accommodating. We met some nice guys from Arkansas & Oklahoma who stayed while they were working down river.
