Mold, dusty
. cleaning staff all need improvement and training. Company policy is to replenish rooms with clean linens and remove trash every other day so get used to a pile of dirty towels and bags of trash in your room. If you’re lucky they’ll come in and clean when they’re supposed to. We will not stay there again. I notice they have a lot of men with work boots. I assume their main clientele is guys and they don’t notice the dirt, dust and mold on the walls behind the toilet otherwise they wouldn’t have any rooms rented. They probably give a corporate rate. I don’t know how they have four stars??? Not from my stay for sure.

The lighting in the bathroom was so bad I had to go get a flashlight to dry my hair and put on makeup. Even after the bulb was replaced. The shower had a bar of used soap in it and a dirt stain on the floor. The TV quit working and couldn’t be fixed or replaced. There was a horrible stain on the drapes. Vent in the bathroom was dirty and rusty. Staff were friendly but couldn’t fix any of it. Breakfast was mediocre at best. We won’t stay here again.

I have only spent one night so far of a 4-night stay and I am beyond unhappy and frustrated with the hotel. It is Sunday and no one works here on the weekend except for a front desk clerk who is doing his best but has no ability to help. My room has no heat and since maintenance does not work on the weekends and there are no available rooms I am sitting here very cold. When I checked into the room, the trash by the desk had not been emptied and there was a used washcloth in the tub. I threw both in the trashcan by the elevator. Housekeeping here is not great - not even good. I should add that this is the second room I was moved to since in the first room the light in the bathroom did not work and neither did the phone, so of course since maintenance does not work on the weekends it could not be fixed. This is a weekend where the rooms are sold out - why would there not be a manager and a maintance person on call for issues that arise on the weekend? Why were these issues not caught prior to a guest checking in by housekeeping (beause housekeeping is not well trained or supervised!). I, like others, am very disappointed with the condition of this property and the lack of services.

I came out here for a funeral, I arrived at Shreveport airport and we drove in which was very simple. Be advised that road work is being done around the surrounding area of the inn but it’s nothing to difficult to maneuver around. There is plenty of spots to eat, gas stations, dispensary, dollar store and a mini market. The inn is your basic spot, parking right in front, with great customer service. The lobby is nice, with breakfast area, small store by the desk, fitness center and pool on the same floor. The rooms are decent with view of the parking lot and surrounding businesses. The elevators and front entrance don’t require room keys, but it seemed safe for the most part. The complimentary breakfast was just fine with different options each day. I would recommend this location of you want to stay close by downtown Natchitoches.

The hotel was clean but the housekeeping services were non existent. We stayed for four nights. Each morning we would leave to visit family. When we came back to the hotel, we had to empty our trash in the hall bins, go downstairs for shower gel, toilet tissue, towels and coffee supplies. This happened two nights and I asked to speak with the hotel manager. I was advised he was out of town so I asked to speak with the housekeeping manager
. They never called as requested . This told me that the sense of caring or lack there of, trickled down from the top. If I were the manager I would appreciate knowing. SMH ALSO Plug near the coffee maker was nonfunctional. Shower backed up with water when we took a shower. Small refrigerator was leaking water into the carpet
