I made a reservation more than a week in advance through Expedia. I arrived at 10:30 PM to be told I had no reservation; they had no rooms; they had cancelled all reservations due to hurricane damage. I then had to scramble for a room- very hard to come by after Hurricane Laura- finally found one - an HOUR AND A HALF away. Before leaving the parking lot I lodged a complaint with Expedia. The next day, I reached out to Expedia again & they contacted the hotel trying to get a refund on my behalf. They were told I had failed to cancel!!!!! Again, I responded to Expedia that I had arrived & was turned away! The hotel is still refusing to issue a refund. I have filed with my credit card company & reached out directly to Wyndham, whose customer service rep did, indeed, find my reservation!

I booked a room for friday night but when I got there the receptionist told me all reservations were canceled. all my weekend plans were ruined. I had to drive back home because there was no other place to stay. The place is listed as a 2.5 star hotel but I would not even give them a one star rating. lobby was in poor condition and the place looked very shady.

The hotel seemed awful dated and could use a remodel but it was decent & clean so I cant really complain too much. The switch on the desk lamp was screwed up and the desk drawer didn't have a bottom in it, but I didn't really go there to study just to spend the night and gamble so it was good enough.

I have stayed in many hotels in my life but I would have to say this one takes the cake as pretty much the worst ones I have stayed at. Just walking into the lobby should of known the rooms would of not been any better. The side door to get in the hotel was broken anyone could just walk in if they wanted too. They had brick trash cans in the middle of the sidewalk which made it pretty difficult to get our luggage and other things in. The first room they put us in smelled like mold because there was mold under the AC unit which didnt work. They put us in another room the AC worked but it was so dirty! Had someone's left Qtips on the floor right by the bed on each side. Duck tape hiding a hole in the shower. Stained sheets and bedding. Food on the carpet looked like crushed crackers. I can keep going on and on. It was just a all around terrible experience and only reason I gave it one star is cause I had to choose one. Don't go!!

Too many items about property that did not meet expectations, compared to other Days Inns. Room odors, ants in the bathroom area, needs repairs and painting and carpet cleaning or replacement. Breakfast area was okay with limited items, but very roomy. desk staff was cordial and friendly, on check in and out.
