Golden Nugget Lake Charles

I left behind an expensive polo I purchased the day before heading to the Golden Nugget, only to leave it behind when I headed home. I left a message the following day and received a return call not long after. GNLC Housekeeping Supervisor, Cynthia, notified me they had my polo and provided me with step by step instructions on what I needed to provide them to return it to me. The following day, GNLC Housekeeping Supervisor, Tuesday, emailed me that my package was on its way to me. This is how you provide customer service. Taking additional measures to come through even for the small things say a lot. I will return to GNLC soon, but this time to personally thank as many of the GNLC Housekeeping Team I can. These guys are great at what they do.

We were at the pool and the service was horrible. We ordered food and had to find our server to bring it to us. There were 6 servers just standing at the bar chatting, didn't seem like serving the customers was high on anybody's list. We'll stay at L'Auberge next time.

Can’t say enough words about how nice the hotel is! Highly recommend! Love the valet room views restaurants. I didn’t gamble though so cant really talk to how the casinos are. It feels like you are in las vegas not in lake charles. Rooms are big and spacious. Include tub and shower separate

Stayed 2 nights and had a problem with the room the first night. Ashley the night manager was not accommodating, rude as can be and extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. We love staying here and do so often but I’m so sick of the poor management practices happening on a regular basis.

My husband and I visit Golden Nugget Lake Charles on a regular basis and we have for many years. With it being cold lately we weren’t sure if the H2O pool would be open this trip, but we were happy to see it was for a few hours so we could go enjoy some time in the hot tub and have a couple of cocktails. The guy bartender who served us was very friendly. We were delighted we got to see Lauren, one of the managers out there. We love her! We had the privilege of meeting her when she was at DraftKings. She waited on us and all of our friends many many times. Still the best service we have ever had hands down. Seeing her go to management at the pool wasn’t a surprise, so for a while now we’ve been able to see her out there when we visit. She still greets us BY NAME! She came over to make sure we were greeted, felt welcomed, had full drinks, and clean towels. When they were closing, she even recommended we continue to enjoy our stay by visiting some of the other outlets that were still open like the ice bar and blue martini. She really knows her stuff! She genuinely cares about the guests there and her presence is very welcoming and positive. We ended up going to the blue martini and it didn’t disappoint! The bartender (Kelsey?) was very sweet! Thanks for the recommendation Lauren! You’re great and we look forward to seeing you a lot over the summer!
