AC Hotel Louisville Downtown

The customer service at this hotel is non-existent. You will find better service at the Motel 6. I am not kidding. I requested an extra blanket shortly after I arrived at 3 pm because I was not feeling well. Over the next four hours, I requested the blanket two more times. It never came. The beds here are ultra soft, which for me are not comfortable. It's really astounding that this is part of the Marriott chain. The staff here is clueless and the service sucks. Marriott, do better.

AC Hotel was conveniently located for restaurants, with wonderful Cuban restaurant La Bodeguita de Mima right next door. A self parking on site garage was a big plus even at $25/day. Our 2 queens room was okay, just standard. It lacked lighting but comfortable. Our greatest issue was the lack of communication between staff. We were told to sit in the breakfast area after we ordered cheeseburgers (excellent) from the front desk, but after 45 minutes I found out the orders had to go through the bar, so our food had not been ordered. Many other instances of unclear communication exist, but the final day if we had not kept one of our room cards we would not have been able to get out of the garage as registered guests had to scan room card. We were not told that as we checked out. Even with issues, we would stay here again.

AC Hotel Downtown Louisville turned out to be a great spot for our family to convene for my cousin's wedding. Room was clean, staff was amazing, and the lobby/bar area was great for hanging out. Anthony, the bartender, felt like part of the family. Only downside to this hotel is there is little room for storing clothes. Not a lot of drawers, etc. You have to live out of your suitcase.

My flight was cancelled on 6/23/24 due to the nationwide IT issues affecting many businesses. I am a Titanium Elite member and called to see if they could wave the charge due to circumstances outside of my control and thought with the flight cancel information it wouldn't be a problem. Spoke to both front desk and manager and it was declined. Terrible customer service and management. I would advise never to book this hotel and work with others.

This hotel needs to have a better police presence in the area. It is impossible to sleep. Stayed here three nights, and was unable to sleep each night due to nonstop car racing outside in the street. The hotel needs to contact the police or sheriffs department. Pretty sad as the NULU area of Louisville is being revitalized and could be great.
