Howard Johnson by Wyndham Waterloo Cedar Falls

Good place to stay, particularly when you consider the price. Room was plenty large and was clean. Check-in was a breeze and the staff I interacted with was great! The restaurant next door is one of the best family restaurants in the area. I would, and probably will, stay here again.

Rip off! We made rsvp at Waterloo, IA and showed up half hour later and I went to the room. It had a heavy damp moldy odor which bothered my wife's respitory condition. They refused a refund! Only a half hour had passed. Never stay Wyndhams again

The only thing good was the price, but you got only what you paid for. Broken sofa bed, no pool towels, slow check-in, subpar service, broken drawers and hairdryer, a sopping wet room!!!

The room was huge and for a handicapped person with a walker spacious. The breakfast was coffee, cereal, sausages, biscuits and gravy and others and each was delicious.

Not good at all! Don't be fooled by the photos and some of the positive reviews. Please look at some of the detailed reviews of recent travelers. This may have been a decent place to stay in the past but it is very run down and it is not a clean place to stay anymore. I'm not one of those people who complain about little details and have worked in the service industry myself so I know the type. Basic cleaning and giving a damn about your customers aren't difficult but this place lacks in both. There was food left in the fridge, bathroom was dirty and beds were broken down and very uncomfortable. Trust me this is not the place to stay in Waterloo.
