Revel Hotel Des Moines Urbandale Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Michelle at the front desk was Incredible! She was so amazing and kind and made my two young daughters feel like they were VIP by taking the time to talk to them and ask how they were doing whenever she saw us. Her smile and warm personality made us want to come back! Hotel was clean and updated. Free water was a nice touch. Pool: We booked through Priceline and were told the property had a pool but didn’t find out until later that you have to walk to the sister hotel. It was close but still a bit inconvenient but not the hotels fault. Michelle again was kind and showed us right where to go. Food: The breakfast was great even for my picky eaters. We had dinner one night and it was pricey for what it was. The kids meal was $9 with one of the sides being potato chips straight out of the lays bag , I mean they put them in a fancy bowl but still😆. The listing said it included a drink but we were charged extra for the kids drinks. Would definitely stay again just eat elsewhere.

Typically, the Tapestry and Curio collection hotels by Hilton are not my thing, there was nothing wrong, but just wasn't my thing. I thought I would give this one a try after reviewing the photos and the reviews. This Tapestry collection hotel was a nice surprise to me. It was very modern in the hotel, a large shower, and very homey feeling. The lobby had some nice nightlife with pool tables, TV's and the fully stocked bar. The service at the bar with good and the food was perfect. They were changing the menu, so they were out of some items. The surrounding area was rolling and felt quiet being in the country.

This hotel was 10 star. All employees especially the bartenders were very friendly. The restaurant food was very good and the breakfast buffet was also good. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the exercise room was the best I have ever seen in a hotel. Don't hesitate. Stay at this hotel and enjoy.

This was our first stay at a Hilton Tapestry and it was outstanding. The rooms were modern, clean and spacious. The only complaint was the design of the shower - which basically allows anyone coming in and out of the room to see you in the shower - was weird. But beyond that, the room was great. The hotel offers a fun bar/social area off the lobby which doubles for the breakfast space - which was outstanding. The fitness center was next level. Easily the nicest and most comprehensive that I have seen at a traditional hotel property - honestly, it rivaled fitness centers I have seen at resorts. It was that good. Overall, a 10 out of a 10. Will definitely stay again.
