The water never gets hot enough for the hot tub. The shower does not get hot. The sauna takes over an hour to heat. The cleaning g crew came at 8 am and we weren't quite ready for cleaning. We left at about 830 and came back about 7 pm. The cleaning crew never came back, so we had no new towels, our bed wasn't made, and garbages weren't emptied. Tried talking to the front desk and the gentleman just said "sorry" and got me some towels. What's the point t of saying something to the front desk if they are just going to say "sorry" and not actually fix anything? Why spend so much money on a room when you can't use the hot tub, sauna, or shower?

We arrived late, near 10 pm. The lobby is clean. Our comfy king bed was in a nicely sized room. The fridge held the contents of our cooler and overnight the freezer refroze the gel paks. After breakfast, we enjoyed playing in the indoor pool. And the price is right.

My wife and I stayed one night in this hotel as a last minute stay on a cross country road trip. We checked in close to midnight and thankfully were gone by 6:30am. Even in that short period of time I developed a nice nasty cough. This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in and with my wife being Latina I've stayed in some interesting places across Central America. When we entered the room we both said "OMG what's that smell?" I proceeded to check the fridge for mold and check the room for where the smell was coming from. While doing that my wife was putting some sort of lemon oil on the pillows to cover the smell. We then pulled back the comforter on the bed and the sheets were so dirty it looked like some sweaty dude just got out of the bed. I then decided we're leaving and started to put some things back in my suitcase only to turn around and see my wife laying on top of the comforter sound asleep as she was wiped out. I then put on long pants and a sweatshirt and covered the pillow with a shirt so I could just lay on the bed. I was awake all night reading a book on my iPad as I was to grossed out to sleep. The only decent thing about this hotel was the price and the fact that the bathroom was clean although the shower felt like getting hit with a fire hose as it was so strong. I was joking afterwords that the shower was so strong because it needed to remove the top layer of contaminated skin. The included breakfast looked as bad as the room so we skipped it and went to Perkins once we were closer to Des Moines. Sadly I'm not exaggerating about this place. It was truly disgusting and we would have been better off just sleeping in the car. I rarely write a bad review as I don't really believe in doing that but this place really was something special.

I booked up the Designer Inn & Suites for our wedding on July 10th, 2021. We had tons family come in from out of state for the wedding. I blocked off ten rooms. We had 15 room booked to stay at Designer Inn & Suites in Toledo. As the bride (myself) and groom decided to splurge and get a suite. We stayed in room 202, otherwise known as the Roman Suite. The room was filthy. The bathtub had wads of hair that had not been cleaned up and there was a pill on the floor. After complaining to the manager, he assured me that the room had been cleaned. This was obviously not true. There were stains on the bed, and sex toys in the mattress. I have never felt more disgusting in my entire life. We paid $220 to stay in the dirtiest room in the hotel. I had SEVERAL complaints from other guests that stayed for our wedding. We had family stay in the Aces Wild suite as well. The guests requested an extra blanket for their son, and were given 4 towels and were told to make due. After we checked out of our room and I asked for a comment card, the manager reached into the recycling bin to hand me a blank sheet of paper. I am assuming this was intended to be the "comment card"? Before wasting time to write it down, the worker asked what was wrong. I repeated multiple times that our room was not cleaned. He interrupted me and assured me it was cleaned. Instead of wasting time we left. There was obviously no use in sitting there, probably covered in bedbugs as it was no use. I was INCREDIBLY disappointed in our stay and will be posting my review online. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason we should have paid $220 for a hotel room that wasn't even suitable for rats.

The place was very dirty in the lobby and hall ways the staff was not friendly at all. The shower didn't work no pool carpet missing in the hall way room was OK but not overly clean and quite small whirlpool was nice fire place was very cheap and not going to stay there again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone I like. Bad hotel ok room for the 150.00 but ya.
