We stayed 2 nights for family graduation. Host mom made reservation so we ended up paying far more than we would have had we conducted our own search. The rate was a surprise at checkout because the woman at the desk gave us practically no info at check in. Our room, bed, etc was all perfectly acceptable but, for the absurd price, customer service was a little short. Breakfast wasn't restocked, it was sometimes tough to find somebody at reception, etc.

We’re a Marriott Titanium family, courtesy of my spouse, and generally go out of our way to stay at Marriott properties. In our experience of 40+years of extensive travel, Marriott properties consistently deliver higher quality than any other brand of hotels. This property had the highest rating of any Marriott property in the area. Sadly, our experience has been one of the poorest we have ever witnessed to date. Pros: property was clean. Room was clean and without odors. Cons: glassware in room were very spotted, presumably from hard water deposits. Show-stoppers: the hostess at the front desk was the most condescending, jealous, mean-spirited individual we have ever witnessed at the point of check-in. For examples
1) did not greet us with a ‘thank you for your patronage and elite status’, 2) did not thank us when showing our Bonvoy card as ID, 3) did not offer a welcome gift, even with a pile of them on the floor behind the counter. When we asked for the meaning of the ‘star’ on our card folio, she indicated ‘that’s to signify our loyalty member status’. So when we then enquired about the gift bags on the floor, we asked ‘what are those gift bags’? She curtly replied ‘those are for our elite members’ (at this point, she knew of our status as my spouse had already presented her credentials). Then my spouse asked ‘could we have one, since I am a Titanium member’? Her reply ‘would you like one’? 4) The incessant barking of a dog across the aisle in our room was more the icing on the cake. We like pets - but we never travel with one. The pet’s owners had sadly left the pet in the room alone for an hour+. Once they returned, the dog stopped barking. When talking to the national customer support center for Marriott, they suggested we don’t stay at properties like this one (where pets are welcome) if want to avoid issues with pets such as dogs barking. Just to be clear, the annoying dog barking next door was only a brief disturbance, and not nearly as troubling as the extremely rude behavior we experienced at check-in and during our stay. As the old adage goes, unhappy customers will generally tell 10x the number of people of their bad exeriences as happy ones. Marriott - your brand deserves more credit than what it is delivering at this property.

Great customer service! Summer was so sweet! Rooms were great! Breakfast was great, Room was spacious with comfortable beds! Will stay again when visiting my son and grandchildren. Love hotels that offer Military discounts!

Nice complimentary cookies in the lobby on arrival and a coffee station which is not at all Towne Suite properties though I think it’s meant to be. Breakfast the most variety we’ve had in a long time at a Marriott property so that was great. Used the pool which was quiet and warm. Room quiet and had no issues. Nice walking trail behind the hotel. Arbys next door.

Perfect stay! The hotel was well situated, clean, and comfortable, with ample parking. Starbucks is next door, and there are a couple of gas stations that are a short walk away. There was little road noise at night - next time I'd request a room at the back of the building. Great overall; I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
