The person (Heather, I believe) working the late evening shift at the front desk lied to my son and then I about “running out of regular coffee.” As I was preparing for our next day in Des Moines I realized that there was not regular coffee in my room. I had my son run down and ask the front desk for a packet of regular coffee. He was told that the hotel did not have any more. As an adult, I knew this couldn’t be possibly true. Therefore, I walked down to the front desk and asked if there was any regular coffee. I was told the same, “there is no more, the hotel ran out.” I questioned the front desk agent about this. She then shrugged, took some deep breaths and after I pressed a little more, she said she check the extra closet/space for coffee. Of course she was able to come up with coffee. I don’t liked being lied to. I also don’t appreciate an adult lying to my son for a simple request of coffee for our room that prides itself on having a kitchenette and coffee in room.

I stayed here for a business day trip. It was quiet and quaint and the staff was nice. Nice and simple rooms. There's a restaurant in walking distance and very close to the hotel. No issues during my stay and have no problem staying again in the future.

Great place to stay with a friendly staff and close to the interstate, loved the pool and complimentary breakfast. It is pet friendly so that you can bring your best friend too! I highly recommend if you are ever in the area. Plus it is right across from Texas Roadhouse!

Never answers phone, kids running and screaming at 10pm every weekend of my 2-3 month stay, internet hiccups constant, doesn’t actually clean the rooms even on their deep clean day. My trash was overflowing. Needed it outside. Watch out for the pothole on the drive in if you have a low car.

Had a room block setup for our Youth Baseball Team, two months prior to our stay. Cheri set this up with us. Gave me a call 4 days prior to our arrival to let us know that their hotel had overbooked and they were canceling our whole block of rooms. Zero help finding something else, she also promised a call from the GM of the hotel and as of 72 hours after the phone call, I haven't received any response. Crazy thing is our whole team stayed at the same hotel two weeks prior. Just displaced 11 families for the weekend without any repercussions for the actions. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
