Grand Harbor Resort and Waterpark

The hotel definitely needs updating, torn drapes, too small bedding but it was clean and staff was great. Attended a large convention and check in and check out were quick and easy. Only downside was no late check out, had t be out of the room before the convention was over so had to load our vehicle by myself with multiple trips.

My boys are 7 and 10 and the waterpark was perfect for an overnight getaway. They absolutely loved the laser maze and extra activities the staff ran throughout our stay. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Room was clean and breakfast was a great perk.

Front Desk is just outside water park area and stairs/elevator to rest of property. Did not realize it was The Front Desk as we were not greeted when we approached. Staff looked like they would prefer to be anywhere else. We were part of a group of 100+ people in area for weekend.

The rooms were nice and clean. Bed sheets were kind of rough. we didn’t spend a whole lot of time in the baby swimming area. Mainly on the slides and swimming area. Needs a lot of work on it. Very rusty areas on the slides and fountains and stuff. The concessions was good and cheap we thought. Needs more sitting area also you gotta be fast when someone gets up to leave. one of the hot tubs was closed and the other was full of little kids and the chemicals in there was so strong that we sat in there for 5 minutes and our eyes were stinging and we was having trouble breathing. Needs more venting. After 3 hours my son was having trouble breathing because of all the chemicals in the air that we decided to head up to the rooms to just chill but over all it was a good time and fun thing to do for a night.

This hotel was connected to a volleyball tournament, with skywalk so we stayed here. Everywhere that was NOT a room was decent. Room tho. Nah. There’s visual dust on the wall. Light on the desk doesn’t work, so room is dark. No fan in the bathroom, which is wild to me. Water pressure in shower was awesome! The room was set sf 72° when we walked in. HOT andddddd humid. We set it at 63° on AC and it was that way both days and was comfortable, but humid. Breakfast was probably better than Iv seen. No pancakes/waffles, but everything else looked good. The windows tho… they need to be washed, bad. Everyone sits and eats.. and looks out these windows covered in very visible cobwebs. Over all, the rooms I think just need a really good clean
