This place has truck parking 👍🏼 The sheets were clean. Room was okay but the bed could use some memory foam on it. A sign in the lobby said no pets. I don’t know what people thought when they brought five dogs in😡 3 were next door to us and 2 just down the hall. Not much sound barrier. Praise God for earplugs because I couldn’t hear what my husband described as ‘it sounded like a dog kennel’😠 Downstairs is nonsmoking. Breakfast was donuts and rolls (cereal...) 🤨 coffee was good! Lady at desk was friendly☺️Would we stay again? Probably. We got a decent price.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! If I could give this place zero stars I would. My roommate and I were looking for a place to live in Clarion. We came across an ad in the newspaper for a room there for only $600 a month with everything included. Well a few days before we move we find out that was the wrong rate that they gave us and it was really $260 A WEEK which was $1,040 A MONTH for a crappy two bed motel room. AT first they said they would clean our room once a week. One day they came and said they will every other day. That was fine. They complained that the room was a mess. All we had was boxes from some storage that we were gonna take out the next day! At first they were nice and sweet and always asked if we needed anything. At first they said we could do laundry there then changed their minds. They would clean the room maybe once a week or every other week. They were never nice to us when we were there. They also claimed the roommates parents trashed their rooms which I know they did not and said they would cancel their reservation if they made it online. And they were not welcome there anymore. Weekend before we moved out. They decided to tell our room smelled! When the whole motel smelled like drugs and was not that clean. I had a piece of mail sent there which was important to me. They decided to send it back to get back at us! When the roommate went there to ask for it. TRUDY THE MANAGER was threatening him and saying that she was gonna punch him and calling him names. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I would rather sleep in a car then ever stay there again!!

Staff treated my son and his family terribly, and my husband and I were told, through my son, that we were not welcome to stay at this establishment in the future because we left the room in such a disgusting state. I bagged the garbage and organized the dirty towels and did not leave anything filthy. Seems that the staff were annoyed to have customers in their building. My son had a need for an extended stay and paid in cash every week. Needing a temporary mailing address, which the hotel agreed to, he checked for mail today and was threatened and verbally abused by the staff. Thankfully he has secured alternative living arrangements and moved out last week.. I fail to understand how this place can be in business with such a complete lack of customer service. I try to support local businesses, but never again with a place like this!

I understand how bad it is to have puke on the ground but people drink and things happen. Housekeeper did not want to clean up puke and rudely stated that we’d have to clean the mess. Being here on contract for work half the workers with me speak one language therefore do not understand her. As I’m walking away she wants to mumble that we were “Disgusting people.” And says “we won’t be here for long.” (It was 1 puke insident) and now “we’re disgusting.” None the less my stuff was moved. My coworkers cell phone and 2 phone chargers went missing. Went to front desk to ask for some blankets and was answered very rudely by front desk lady. Housekeeper also claimed we “ruined 2 towels.” And stated that she could charge us $200 but that “that was not how much she was gonna charge us.” We’re really going to get charged for 2 towels used to CLEAN UP THAT PUKE SHE WANTED US TO CLEAN??? Rooms are nice, Breakfast was ok, workers are terrible. (Family owned hotel, figures) also been here for 4 days and haven’t even got new towels. 🤔 Is she housekeeper or not?

Were able to do a late check-in because they left the room key in mail box.Very clean.Easily accessible on hard surface roads. Lady and husband very helpful with easy instructions for our arrival. Offered a free newspaper. We didn't eat as we had to vet back to Ft.Dodge for a other game.
