Holiday Inn Express Richmond an IHG Hotel

Absolutely avoid this hotel unless you get a room on the side away from the highway; the noise of the big trucks on Interstate 70 is very loud all through the night; neither one of us got much sleep at all. The building has four floors, and there is very little sound abatement between floors. We heard our neighbor on the floor above us stomping around quite a lot. In short, this place has a real problem with noise. For this reason, we recommend avoiding this particular Holiday Inn. We stay at Holiday Inn a lot and usually have a good experience; this was easily our very worst. Other than the noise, it is a standard Holiday Inn experience. Too bad there is such a terrible noise experience.

Had a very nice stay. NOTE the property is newly renovated and is converted to a Holiday Inn Express. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. The lobby area is nice but felt a little sterile (too much white). Staff was very nice and helpful. The cleaning crew missed making the bed and replacing toilet paper once, so slight room for improvement there. Breakfast was exceptional compared to many other places we have stayed that offer free breakfast. Kudos to the staff keeping the breakfast food stocked and the breakfast area very clean!! We were impressed! Highly recommend staying here if in the area.

The room is right off the interstate so it is very easy to find. The hotel was very clean and the front desk clerks both at check-in and checkout were very friendly and top notch. The rooms are large and very warm. Made it feel like home away from home. Very nice! Will definitely be back.

Dirty! .. room is dirty and needs upgraded badly. Should have read review before staying here. DIRTY TOWELS from previous occupant still hanging. This place is gross. Period . Turn on the tv (which is smudged and dirty) and the volume will go down with with remote not up… and won’t change channels . Did I say this place is gross ? If there was another hotel with availability tonight I would pay to move.
