Renee greeted us with keys ready and a big Georgia smile as we arrived at 1:30am! She had us checked in to the credit card on file, and oriented us to tge brealfasr times as we continued to keep walking our tired legs right to the room. But we had to stay long enough to thank her for the warm welcome. No one gives this kind of personal service any more! If you stay here, say hi to Renee early in the morning!

This is a great hotel. The location is excellent. The rooms are clean, spacious and have everything you need for an extended stay. The staff is helpful & courteous. Tresor, at the front desk, was outstanding: very helpful and a true hospitality professional!

We just stopped for the night on our way to Panama City Beach. This was a perfect spot. It was easy to get off the highway and it was quiet. There was a shopping center close by to just stretch our legs. We tried Twin Peaks just on the other side of the parking lot, but there were a half dozen restaurants to choose from. Our room was nice. The staff were extra friendly and helpful. I would have given it a 5 since it was great in so many ways. But for breakfast they had those premade Jimmy Dean sandwiches and croissants. Otherwise it was perfect.

I have stayed at Marriott properties hundreds of nights over the past several years so I believe my expectations are realistic. I had stayed at this hotel several months ago and understood that the property would shortly begin a needed renovation. I called in mid February to see if the renovations was complete and was told "it would be done by the end of February". On that basis I booked but when I arrived it was clear renovations were still underway. My floor was half renovated and the other half looked like it was abandoned. I decided to stay so obviously my room was livable and on the upside everything in it was new. The staff just didn't seem to have high expectations set for them by their management. I would find out after the fact about services that weren't available that normally are. My room wasn't serviced when I requested and was serviced when I asked for it not be. Two days in I stopped asking for solutions and fixes and concentrated on the visit with my family. You may want to avoid this hotel until they get things straightened out.

Where do Marriott hiring there people? This hotel staff is rude. They do not speak! I know Marriott standards are better than this. This is each morning I come down. It’s bad enough your hotel is outdated but to have rude staff just unacceptable.
