Ramada by Wyndham Angola Fremont Area

This is definitely the smelliest hotel I’ve been in and also dirtiest I would rather stay in my car or in the parking lot laying on the ground. The room was so musty and wet feeeling I didn’t even want to bring my luggage in. A 1 star review is too much

I was charged 50 dollars on top of the bill for a security deposit. Hopefully I will get it back . The hotel reminded me of an old abandoned building. Not at all like the photos. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was ok. The coffee maker couldn't be plugged in where it was placed so I moved it into the bathroom. Gravy without biscuits for breakfast. The way the pool area looked made me too uncomfortable to try it out.

Pros: the crew is putting in effort in keeping the Ramada a decent place to stay. The Room was clean. The refrigerator and microwave were clean. Even the sofa was clean under the cushions! The breakfast offered a fine variety of foods. Check in guy was cool. Awesome postcards offered across from the check-in desk. Big patio. Okay: the water pressure was decent - the fixtures worked, but sure had some wear down. Indoor Pool room looked okay, but it is isolated and kinda bare. They have a cat hanging around, but food dish was empty. :( Cons: Oatmeal bags were hard and stale from breakfast. Local TV Channels were a mess! They only offer some out of market Michigan stations and only Lansing's 10 (NBC) and 53 (ABC), was watchable. Angola is located in the Fort Wayne TV Market. The FW transmitters are located 45 miles to to the south. This needs corrected immediately! The Arcade is ancient with a broken video game and prize crane with junk inside.

Not overall satisfied. Plumbing and air conditioning issues and the overall clenseness was of the rooms needs slot of work ...Staff and breakfast were great.

The Room smelled of mold and urine. The bathroom was dirty and a mess, including the shower, which had rust and mold. The water reeked of metals, which is very concerning, considering I washed my face with it and had to brush my teeth with it!!! Will never stay there again. I Was there for a tournament that my daughter was in who’s in college. I mentioned this to all of her college friends when they asked me where I was staying. A bunch of 18 to 22-year-olds told me that that is the absolute worst place to stay and that I should never go there again!!! And I won’t and I advise anyone looking at this hotel not to go there.
