Crowne Plaza Chicago Ohare Hotel & Conf Ctr and IHG Hotel

I had to get this hotel last minute after my coach to Detroit was cancelled. I got a very good last minute price for it. It is about 15-20 minutes walk from Rosemount subway station and about 30 minutes outside the city centre. A very comfortable and pleasant stay with nice flavoured water that you can obtain in the reception area. Although it's a bit quiet round there, I felt perfectly safe walking to and from the hotel.

Attended a conference here in March 2025. Friendly front desk staff. Very nice layout, once I got oriented. The main floor and the level down had all the meeting rooms, which were spacious and all close enough that I didn't have to wander long halls or wait for elevators to get between classes. Could be chilly in larger rooms. Waiting for the elevators to get to my room on the 13th floor was a bit of a holdup on the breaks, but I've seen much slower. All seemed quite clean except some food under our bed that the cleaners missed. Quiet in the rooms. Wait staff in the cafe and attached were friendly and hard-working! Food above average. Sit-down dinner was VERY well served, classy, delicious. Big parking lot. Parking fee added to room. Easy walking distance to Nordstrom & similar stores. Overall very comfortable and accommodating.

I had a wonderful experience with the staff at the Crowne Plaza O’Hare, even though I, unfortunately, had to cancel my stay last-minute due to a sudden illness with my kids. Jennifer at the front desk was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. She handled the situation with such empathy and professionalism, making a stressful moment feel a little lighter. Her compassion and willingness to help didn’t go unnoticed — she truly went above and beyond. Exceptional service like this makes all the difference. Thank you, Jennifer, for your care and support!

Worst hotel trip ever. Shower pressure was through the roof and soaked the floor and my clothes because of the shower curtains they bought that are obviously too small. Bad shower was a bad way to start the one night trip there to then find out the breakfast buffet on the sign talking about rooms “amenities” was 25$ a person with premade frozen looking food. Finally check out and leave to go do my plans for the day and check my bank account only to find out i was double and overcharged by the company for the room and my deposit was never returned. Will never come back to a hotel from this corporation again and will be contacting corporate.

I was a tad nervous but our stay exceeded all expectations. We were on a higher floor if that matters, but our room Looked practically brand new (minus the tub but that was minor), the beds were super comfortable, the room was decently spacious, the lobby nice, and the pool are was great (no hot tub). I booked it so we could skip a rental car. We could walk to the fashion outlets (amazing), the big Parkway entertainment center, and the Blue Line into the city (definitely an experience).
