"The rooms in question are in dire need of updating; their extremely dated décor speaks of a bygone era that does little to welcome modern guests. Furthermore, a persistent musty odor lingers within, suggesting a lack of fresh air and diligent maintenance, which significantly detracts from the comfort and appeal that one would expect from such accommodations."

This place is great! The rooms are big, clean, beds are comfortable, it’s quiet, and water pressure is terrific! The pool was awesome, had so much fun. The owners are on site, friendly & accommodating. Highly recommend this place. Will most definitely be back!

This is a budget motel and you should NOT expect the Ritz. I was very pleased with the value, and the place is way better than the $90 I paid for the room. Everything was clean, even the carpet, and there were no odd odors. The HVAC worked well, as did the bathroom fixtures. The motel is surrounded by places to eat. I mean right next door; within walking distance.

We booked by AARP Expedia, and requested both via Expedia and by phone in advance a ground-floor room if there was no elevator. We also indicated we were traveling with a caged guinea pig and were told that was fine. We arrived at about 8pm and were told they'd not gotten either of those messages and had put us in a second floor room. The lady at the desk was very nice accommodating and said she would "upgrade" us to a ground-floor room and no additional charge (apparently rooms with "double" beds on the second floor cost less than "queen" beds on the first floor.) When we opened the door to the room we were hit with the stench, and it was literally a stench, of stale dog urine. My traveling companion went into the room while I went to complain and to refuse the room. The lady at the front desk (Mrs. Patel?) had been joined by a gentleman who told her to put us into the room next door, which was considerably cleaner. (Had he not we would have walked out of the hotel to find another and challenged any late-cancellation charges.) By the time we were let into the second room neither of us could not detect any strong odors, although my companion indicated she could smell that someone had vaped or smoked in that room at sometime in the past and that the room had a musty smell to it. I again went to the lobby and talked to the lady on duty just to inform her that the room did have an odor and that we wanted to be sure that they understood we did not vape/smoke/whatever in that room to cause the odor. The lady indicated that the room had been "non-smoking" for a long time. I did respond that that may be true, but that someone had done something in there and it wasn't us. She said she understood. I had been on the road for over 14 hours and was exhausted by that point, so we accepted the new room. We slept on top of the covers and kept all our personal items off the nasty carpet on the floor. After a few hours in the room my companion developed a strong airway allergy and later had to take medication for it. We left the hotel at 5:00am, skipping breakfast, just to get out of there. Who in their right mind would put ANYONE in that first room, especially someone who had requested ADA-compliant accommodations in advance, is beyond me. NOBODY - even someone with a dog - should be housed in that room. The second room, while worlds better than the first, was also substandard due to the musty smell of unknown origin. On the good side, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. Rather ironically, this was also the only hotel out of two weeks' worth of hotels, that charged us a pet fee for having the guinea pig in her cage in the room with us. I'm just thankfully the guinea pig did not catch any diseases or suffer any obvious respiratory distress. The photo of the motel online must be a stock one, or one taken a few decades ago. This motel is old and rather run-down. I can't comment on any of the advertised amenities or breakfast as we were out of there as quickly as we could manage. The young woman working the desk when we left seemed confused when I told her that we were leaving early because the room smelled bad and that we would not be giving the hotel a good review. Unfortunately, she didn't think to offer even an apology for that. Seriously, this was awful. From our experience, I could not in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone. It's possible that the first floor rooms would have been in better condition - I have no way to know. I can only report our experience, which was abysmal. Again, the staff were all very pleasant, but OY! Run away.

Does not look like the pictures at all. It's dirty and has an unpleasant odor like a public restroom. The window was broken, it didn't close all the way or lock. Anyone could easily push it open from outside. The lighting was poor and the floor was filthy. There were stains on the armchair. It turned my child's feet black after 10 minutes. We left immediately and went elsewhere.
