CONS: Booking, If you choose this hotel, don't use a third-party reservation site. If you have any problems with your reservation, you will get the runaround and a major headache. Book direct. The manager could use a crash course on hotel hospitality. Greet your visitors with "welcome, how can I help you?" Return phone calls. Apologize for whatever inconvenience a visitor experiences. Hotel policies are ironclad and wrapped in hard cement. Zero exceptions with no apologies. You could die of a heart attack in the parking lot, and you'll still be charged for the room if you made a reservation. Don't even ask for early check-in, even if your room is ready and you're 15 minutes early. Lastly, the hotel not only holds your card but also charges a $100 upfront security deposit, which they refer to as 'incidentals'. There is nothing to purchase that would count as an incidental. Ambiance; the hotel was recently renovated but not renovated enough. There is no elevator. The rooms are quite small. The bathroom shower/baths should be ripped out and replaced. There is significant mold along the grout and shower door. Note to management: use the float you get for crediting our cards to replace the disgusting and unsafe shower/baths. Ewww. The old worn outpocket door to the bathroom is damaged, scratched, with paint peeling. Replace them. Pros: The registration area is clean and newly furnished. Same as the breakfast room. The breakfast room attendant should get a raise and a bonus for keeping it very clean and tidy, wiping down tables immediately, making sure everything is well-stocked. The breakfast was adequate. The bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable considering this is a budget hotel. Bath towels were adequate in quality. The wifi worked fine. Same with the ice machine. We will not stay here again. We can't afford a hotel that is nonrefundable. Life happens. The showers are also a deal breaker. Note to Meridian and Kuna Chambers of Commerce. Work to get a decent hotel along highway 69.

I booked our room through a third party website. Our vehicle broke down about 260 miles away. I immediately contacted the hotel (a few hours before check-in time). I was informed that I needed to contact the third party we used to book the room. I spent hours trying to get a response from the booking website. They asked me to obtain permission from the hotel. Therefore, I called the hotel again. I fully expected them to be gracious and understanding (like every other hotel I've ever dealt with). The young woman I spoke with was very sympathetic, but I could hear her manager asking her questions. The manager was speaking in sharp tones. She proceeded to have the young woman I was speaking with relay all of her messages. The poor girl on the phone was clearly intimidated. I'm not sure why the manager chose to address the situation this way. It was unprofessional—to say the least. The whole experience was slightly appalling. I could understand if they were able to cancel a single night stay, but we had booked 3 nights. I pleaded with them to cancel even one night, but they were unwilling to cancel any of them. Very disappointed. Now I'm being charged $435.98 for an unused room on top of a huge repair bill. Worst experience ever. Stay away. It's not worth the money you're saving. There many better hotels nearby. FYI, this is the first time I ever felt compelled to write a negative review about anything.

Rooms are small and smell. Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Pool was out of order for our entire stay. Staff was friendly though and hotel is located right next to water park. Breakfast is minimal and very little grass area for our kids to play.

Fairly clean, dog friendly room, no carpet. Mattress was good. Small one bed room, #128. Location was convenient for us as we were last room of hall and near exit door for parking and close to dog grass area. BUT, the bathroom was awful! Very old, very cramped, very inconvenient. The shower had about an 18" step up into the weirdly shaped and small tub so you could shower. Rubber bath mat available for you to use. The weird shower bulged out into the bedroom space as a round wall. Tiny toilet closet had a heavy solid wood sliding door. No hooks at all near shower. The price was in my opinion very high for the quality of room this was. It felt like an old Super 8. We paid $158 plus and additional $25 for dog fee per night. The dog policy was a full one page of rules. Some quite severe, threatening calling animal control to take your dog away if you left it in the room and it barked and you were unreachable on the phone. I kind of understand those rules, but my goodness. Anyway, we will never book here again. Price for quality was not equitable.
