We stayed in a corner Superior King room facing Bay St. The room was spectacular with high ceilings and a comfortable bed. The sitting area was spacious and the entire room was very clean. Do not stay here if you are a light sleeper. The street is a main street used by every dump truck, tanker truck or delivery truck in town. The hotel is located at an intersection with some potholes so the noise level is unreal at night. They offer earplugs on the nightstand with a very nice note if that tells you anything. There is a bar within the inn located, you guessed it, right under the room we stayed in for three nights. Debi's restaurant is located within the inn as well and it is delicious. You get 15% off if you are staying in the inn. The water pressure for the shower was great but the shower had no shelf for shampoos and things. We just sat our stuff on the shower floor in the corner. Overall I would recommend this inn if you can sleep like the dead. It was a very short walk to River St, the trolley stand and the historic sights.

Absolutely gorgeous old inn full of antiques and definitely haunted. It's right on the river area of the downtown with tons of parking, restaurants and shops within a few feet from the entrance. The staff we met upon check-in were so nice and explained everything we needed to know. Prices were really great for April; Savannah is an awesome destination to visit, full of history and very walkable. The room was awesome. I loved the old furnishings, brick wall and what looked like the original wood floor. If you've heard stories about the ghost, I think they may be true. We had a fun lights turned on while we were out prank and I like to think it was Charlie. The room was quiet, had a nice view and was very clean. I found the shower great and the bed was so comfortable. I wish we had booked more than one night there! There are plenty of parking garages with affordable prices in the area and you also get free drinks at the attached restaurants and free popcorn from a local place in your room. Ours had both a microwave and fridge which was a nice touch. Perfect location for exploring haunted Savannah!

This little Inn is amazing. I felt so comfortable in my room (queen). The staff is great and willing to do whatever makes you more comfortable. The location is perfect to walk across the street to river street, city market, Broughton Street, just strolling the squares. I would stop back in to the room to take a rest (and put my purchases ) and head back out again. I can’t wait for my next trip- I have stayed many places in Savannah and this is my favorite!

The location is amazing. Walking distance to River street as well as Leopold’s. The decor is amazing. The amenities are amazing. Bottled water and sodas in the lobby. The breakfast was very good. Drinks were also good. We have stayed here twice now and loved it both times. The staff was very friendly.

This is our second visit to East Bay Inn. We love the historic character and convenient location and the fact that it is dog friendly. Managers and staff are polite and helpful. Corner room was huge with high ceiling and comfortably furnished. Bar and restaurant are convenient. We will very likely stay there again on our next visit.
