Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Atlanta Kennesaw

The nicest Fairfield Inn that we have stayed in. It seemed to be new, and was exceptionally comfortable, clean, and fresh in appearance. The front desk attendants for both check-in and check-out were personable and helpful. Conveniently located off 1-75, and was a very welcome sight after our long, long day of travel.

Avoid. This is not a true Fairfield Inn. It’s an old building that has had some cosmetics done to be able to put that name on it. Second Marriott property I’ve been very disappointed in recently. Other was Courtyard Marriott in Hoover, AL. Can’t trust these brands now without more research to confirm they are up to date properties. Also it’s falling apart. The rooms have broken tile and rotten wood.

I’ve been staying Marriott hotels for over three decades (currently Gold Elite if that matters) and I’ve never had a hotel deny me checking out early. The front desk person and the manager (Tabitha) refused to allow me to check out early without fees. I had to leave early when my son injured his hip (which the front desk person said was “not her problem”) playing in a baseball tournament so I could get him to take care of it. I’m hoping this review encourages the hotel to change their approach to customer service.

Clean rooms, quiet, friendly and welcoming front desk, and a tasty, very clean and tidy, excellent breakfast buffet. As Lifetime Platinum members we have seen a lot of Marriotts! See the photo of a complimentary message I wrote -I really wanted her bosses to know!

We are traveling home from a work trip and stopped at 1:30 in the morning to get some rest. Ross at the front desk was polite, friendly, alert and welcoming. While the rooms are a little tired, it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent! A great selection of fresh food. The location is great for easy on and off the highway. Very friendly staff!
