Quality Inn Darien North Brunswick

I booked this hotel for a stay in advance of a cruise in Jacksonville. There was a few locations in the area I wished to visit prior to our cruise. When we first pulled in we wondered if it was going to be a good location. Last hotel on the left before the road goes off into the country and we didn't see any other vehicles. However, it was a hidden gem! It didn't bother us there was not any other guest for a while that evening. The hotel is very clean! Front desk staff are amazing, so polite, helpful and they engage in conversation with you. We had room 227. Even tought we were just a short distance from the interstate, having all the trees around the hotel kept the interstate noise out. Everything in our room functioned well, and it was very comfortable and spacious! At the front desk is a list of the continental food items they serve, along with a comment about short staff at this particular time and if you needed anything to inquire at the front desk and it actually apologized if there was any inconvenience caused by this circumstance. This hotel management is truly about making sure their guest are comfortable and everything they need provided. The breakfast is a continental breakfast - with waffles being the only hot item. We dined for breakfast one morning but choose to travel towards our cruise the next morning. If you are looking for a hotel that is in an area close to attractions yet quiet, peaceful and comfortable with great staff - this is the hotel! It is only a 10 mile drive to the Golden Isle exit - which is well worth it to stay out of the heavy congestion area and noise to have such peace and quiet. I definately recommend this hotel.

I had qualms about this hotel based on some very negative reviews (I always check out the worst reviews first), but decided to try it myself given it's location (very convenient for my long two-day trip) and the fact that is was more affordable than places in Brunswick only 10-15 miles south. I was very pleasantly surprised. Staff was lovely. "Angel" was just that, friendly and helpful. My room was clean and had all the necessities. The carpets in the hallway and in my room felt and looked like new. I even walked barefoot to check them out. Bed was comfortable, with lots of pillows and a good height for me at 5' 1". Breakfast is basic - no protein except some yogurt; hard boiled eggs were not available, even though site says they are offered; coffee is on the weak side. But, there is a McD's on the other side of the expressway, so a good hot breakfast and great coffee was very handy. I would definitely stay at this Quality Inn again.

We stayed here on our way to Florida. It was by chance we found this hotel. The gentleman at the front was kind and courteous, had me checked in quickly. The hotel is in great shape, very clean. The beds were comfortable and we had a nice quiet nights rest. Would suggest this place to anyone.

Wonderful, helpful and friendly staff, well stocked breakfast area they even had decaf tea bags ☺️ also refreshing lemon water in the lobby is a nice touch One negative is you should provide the powdered non dairy creamer for the folks that can’t have dairy in the breakfast dining hall The room we were in was very nice, clean more spacious than quality inn. In the bathroom they even had shampoo/conditioner/lotion dispensers which was so great instead of 1 tiny bottle of shampoo you get at other hotels. Owner was very accommodating as well. Worth the extra $20 over the quality inn we stayed at the previous night we will definitely stay at this hotel again on way back. Thank you. And thank you for the veterans discount

Stopped here for one night on our way to Disney from North Carolina. The check in process was quick and easy. Didn’t have to wait for someone to come to the desk. The hotel is very clean and staff friendly. Our room was clean and ready. Breakfast was cereal, waffles, bread items. My only complaint would be the breakfast area is small but overall hotel was nice.
