Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Vinings Galleria

We stayed for a Brave's game - thought the hotel being 2 miles away, we could walk to the ballpark - unfortunately, we were told we can't - that isn't their fault - just wish they had a shuttle. The steps in the parking lot would be nice if they had a ramp for heavy luggage. The lobby is beautiful. The room was average - the air conditioner made a clicking noise throughout the night that kept us awake even with a box fan. The bartender was nice. Would probably stay somewhere else closer to the stadium.

Beware of your cash if you decide to stay here. My wife and I had stayed here last year and its located near the activities we had planned. When my wife wanted to visit my daughter, we decided this property would be the most convenient and since I'm a Platinum Elite customer, I figured I would use my points to save some money. She checked in, went upstairs, dropped her bags off and she walked my daughter back down to her car. My wife went back upstairs to see an employee coming out of her room. When confronted, the employee said that maint reported her AC wasn't working and walked off. My wife went into her room thinking that was strange and immediately checked her purse only to find that ALL her cash was gone. She had just gone to dinner with my daughter and PAID so she knew she had cash in her wallet. She went downstairs to talk to the manager (there isn't one at night apparently) and told the front desk what happened. They said they would review the video and have the manager in the morning call her. The police were called, but they didn't come out due to the nature of the crime. Of course, she didn't feel safe staying in the hotel and spent the night worrying about her safety. The next morning she left and when a manager finally called, they said they didn't have any video and interviewed the person coming out of her room and they denied taking anything. She checked out immediately over the phone and called the police to file a report. I called to get refund of my points which they did (initially only for the nights that hadn't been stayed), but ultimately, they did refund the points from the first night. They clearly didn't care that the police were called and a report filed. They also didn't seem too worried about the fact this happened. I know its tough to prove, but beware of your belongings if you decide to stay here.

AVOID this property as it is NOT SAFE! Police and medical services had to be called 3 times during my stay, all for different reasons. I would not recommend staying at this hotel for anyone. Further, management assured me that if I stayed past my first night, they would comp that night off. That did not happen. I asked the general manager, Eric Gray, to give me a call to discuss these issues. He has not called.

Stayed here again for a long weekend at the end of the July. This was our third stay this year, and each time everything has been great. Check-in was efficient and professional. I didn't catch the name of the front desk attendant, but he was very welcoming. Courtyard rooms are similar across the brand, but the rooms here are always comfortable. The location is great if you're seeing a baseball game or have any meetings on the N/NE side of Atlanta. This Courtyard always exceeds expectations, and we'll continue to stay here on future trips to Atlanta.

This is an excellent hotel! Clean and the front desk pleasant. Room was clean and fresh. We plan to stay here again upon future visits to Atlanta. Parking free as well. Bistro service was fine and friendly. There are restaurants close by as well.
