Candlewood Suites Atlanta West I 20 an IHG Hotel

I was denied my refund that I had paid a week in advance even tho I stayed for over 30days. The rooms had cockroaches in it and I had to switch my room. There was also blackouts that happened twice while staying there that lasted for hours

The paint in the hotel was dark grey/green and many areas of the lobby and elevator had scratches like we were in a very used motel. I had not heard that atlanta had a bedbug problem so we checked in and when i got to the room 214, started to unload and I noticed there were little boxes on the floor and by the bed- "Cook's pest control". There were dead bugs in the boxes- and that's when I noticed live bugs. So...they had no other rooms to give us, "weren't sure" if they could refund our proposed two night stay "since you were in the room for a few minutes". We left posthaste and took a room at a neighboring hotel that looked nice and did not have pest control boxes and obvious bugs in it.

We had a great stay other than some noise issues during the night. The walls seem to be a bit thin, and we had constant TV and music noise coming from neighboring rooms all night through the morning..

What a beautiful Hotel. We we’re heading to Panama City for the Labor Day weekend. On our way decided to stop at this hotel in Lithia springs. The lobby smelled awesome. The room was very spacious. I wish we could stay for more days. I will be definitely come back next year.

The rooms were nice and clean pillows was very comfy. The coffee was okay not the best but we made it work. The pool area was nice and clean and very relaxing. Staff were amazing and very knowledgeable.
