Bathroom area tiny, fitness room kept at 61 degrees, door to adjacent room had 2 inch gap at bottom. Food options overpriced. Very nice staff!. Parking lot empty but still charge 10 dollars a day. Located right off I-85 and Druid Hills exit. Close to Emory and Atlanta childrens hospital.

So thankful for this incredible staff! We had a group of 65 stay at this hotel and the amount of detail and work that they put into our stay was just phenomenal! Thank you Marriott staff with a special shout out to Charles for always taking care of us! The food was delicious and stay was awesome!

I stayed here for an event. Beware - Platinum recognition is not very good at this property. I did not come in here expecting an upgrade because of the fact that a whole group had taken over the entire hotel. However, I was a bit disappointed to find myself in a dreary room right next to the noisy ice machine. On the bright side, it didn't have a connecting door and it was clean. You'd think they would assign rooms in advance for the duration of the event and block rooms for Platinum and above, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I did check in on the second day of the event so maybe that's why. I was denied a 4pm checkout for some reason, claiming they didn't need to give it. This ended up being a non-issue as my room at The Whitley ended up being ready very early. Didn't try the food here. Overall not the best, but worthy of 3/5.

Picking up my son from music camp at Emory University, which was about four miles away. Since most roads are through neighborhoods, itâs about a fifteen minute drive. Needed to stay Friday and Saturday nights, so looked for someplace nearby. Since it was just me, I wanted someplace clean and didnât need any special amenities. Found the Courtyard for $129 ($147 after taxes) per night. Unfortunately, overnight parking was additional $10 per night, not as bad as elsewhere, but should be complimentary, especially for Bonvoy members. Was initially hesitant after reading prior TripAdvisor reviews, but it was at least 35%+ cheaper than comparable hotels. After staying there, I just think the other customers had unrenovated rooms. My room was everything I could ask for and more. Both the room and the bathroom had new modern fixtures including decent shower head and solid water pressure. Only notable improvement could be the air conditioning blower was a little loud, but I like white noise so wasnât an issue for me. Take a look at the room pictures in the TripAdvisor listing. Itâs what my room looked like. You canât beat the price so such a quality room.
