Ramada by Wyndham Venice Hotel Venezia

The good. * The breakfast restaurant and the night staff are customer service oriented, friendly and informative. *The pool is great for families with children. *The location is great, close to Walmart, Target, major highways and other restaurants. *There is plenty of parking. *The breakfast was family friendly and good for the cost. *There is a different cost if you pay at the front desk vs at the restaurant, not sure why. There is room for improvement. *when checking in, the staff needs to actually provide information. We had to go back to ask about the breakfast time, the check-out steps, the fees for the breakfast, wifi access, housekeeping, etc. * The sinks and tub were not draining or would take a long time to drain * The gym needs some TLC at least the weights and bench as they are completely worn out or have not been cleaned in ages and has no AC in there. *They do not honour Expedia prices, they charged us way higher than the initial quote.

Amazing place to stay . We were very satisfied and all the staff hotel and restaurant were very friendly. The hotel was very clean. The pool was beautiful, heated walk in pool. I would hight recommend this Hotel for a lovely getaway. Kids will definitely enjoy the heated pool

Booked 2 queen bed room with courtyard view and received confirmation. Upon arrival had to wait while the desk agent chatted on the phone in what sounded to be a personal call and not business. The hotel had NOT reserved the room so was stuck in a small dingy room overlooking the parking lot. $250 security deposit for NOT smoking in the room. The room (269) stank of cigarettes so went back to the front desk. The lady (Tamara) was still on the phone and was quite rude. She did move me to another room (285) which was again smaller than what I had reserved and none of the lights worked except for the bathroom. BUT long day and tired and tired of dealing with the lady at the desk. In the morning talked with Angel who was very sympathetic but could not refund points as only corporate Wyndham can do that. Very disappointing and frustrating. NEVER again for this property

Great pool and fitness center, but the hotel needs renovation and better check-in and check-out processes. There was a line at both processes with multiple employees behind the counter but only one assisting. It was slow and inefficient.

Pros: customer service, food, comfy bed. Cons: old and run down, if not for the cars, would think it was abandoned. Trying to kill us with the thick cloud of nasty smelling chemicals one must walk through in the lobby. The stench gave a headache
