Rodeway Inn Near Ybor City Casino

Wow. Just wow. This place is horrible. The beds are all stained, sheets are stained. The area is completely run down. Homeless people everywhere. Vagrants just hanging around. Garbage everywhere. It's not really close to anything other than fast food. Do not stay here.

I pulled up to the motel and told my daughter to lock the doors . It was so nasty. When I got out of my car all I could smell was urine. I didn’t see anybody that wasn’t questionable. The pictures ABSOLUTELY didn’t fit the real deal. I went down the road to Holiday inn express. I would NOT ever recommend this motel to anyone. I would rate this place a BIG FAT ZERO if I could

If you want to get a real life GTA experience then this is the hotel for you. Out of every hotel I've ever stayed in this had me feeling the most unsafe. There is a homeless camp set up next door with they start fires to keep warm. Random people pushing shopping carts, Working women walking about and the main lobby is closed. All traffic is conducted through a bullet proof window on the side. I check in around 5 PM and wasn't sure if it was safer to bring my bag inside or keep it locked up in my trunk. I decided to keep it in my car. I left for my event at 6 PM and returned at 10 PM and I could tell someone had entered my room because my drink was no longer there. I called down to the office and they stated that room service entered the room and they were sorry. I've never heard of room service entering a room AFTER checking in. Not to mention, a guy knocked on my door as soon as I checked in. I told him to go away. I think he was trying to sell me something. Tripadvisor needs to remove this hotel from their database. It looks NOTHING like the photos. Listen to all the other reviews and mine and look elsewhere.

Not a fan of this property. It was not near the expected location - Ybor City. No food places conveniently around, had to drive 10 minutes just to find something to eat. Other guest are found hanging out near the pool and smoking. I had a room right across the room and 2 men were sitting on the stairs smoking with a clear view inside the room. I didn't feel safe even after calling security and the ice machine was broken.
