Do not stay here! Rude service, noisy hotel, the rooms were not clean. Terrible breakfast. As we made a complaint about the conditions, the manager told us to leave his hotel in a rude manner. Do not stay here. Do not stay here. Do not stay here.

The hallway, not really a hallway but a plexi-glas enclosed area located in front of the room entrances, had a constant bad smell the whole time we were there. Our second night there, while taking a shower, the water shut off. I attempted to call the desk for explanation, but the phone didn't work. I had to get dressed and walk down to the lobby to find out what happened, and the gentleman explained another guest broke the water line to the toilet adjacent to our room and the water had to be shut off to prevent flooding. I was told it would it would take at least 2 hours before they could get it fixed. I know these things happen, but the front desk associate did little to resolve our concerns and was less than empathetic. I have many years of customer service experience and this guy's customer service skills left a lot to be desired. I'm When I told him the phone was not working, he explained the system was being updated. This was just a less than pleasant stay. When I asked about compensation, he was unwilling or unable to take care of that and gave me a number to call the manager the next day. I was on the road back to NC during the time the manager was available. I will attempt to call, but have little confidence I will be compensated. This is not what I would expect from this business. I won't be staying there again nor could I recommend them to others.

The Quality Inn in Brandon FL was one of the worst places we've ever stayed. We actually had to move hotels on our last night there as conditions were less then ideal. We stayed there for our daughter's rugby tournament taking place at the Tampa Sports Complex about 7 min away. The room upon arrival was way more shabby and run down then it appeared online. In addition, it was so small. With only one chair at a table in the room - where was the other person supposed to sit? You can tell that there's been some super cheap renovations and they've tried to put some lipstick on the pig. The lights glared through our ill fitting "black out" curtains. We had an adjoining room and the door was paper thin. We could hear everything next door - and one night they were having a full on party that went late into the night. The security guard that is on property at all times was less then helpful. Another night the group adjoining our room was cooking tacos and our entire room smelled like tacos. My husband finally took a towel and wetted it and placed it under the door so the odor would stop flowing through to our room. We had to turn on a noise canceling machine to sleep. because they were so loud. In addition, our second night there we had no water in our room and no staff could help us or accommodate us. After spending all day on the hot rugby field we wanted to come back and take showers. The water was a trickle and the toilet wouldn't flush. They said yes, the water in the west building is out and gave no offer of a resolution or offer to help. We also noticed a mandatory water boil warning posted at the front desk. Good luck to those who have to deal with that. Lastly, there is a cheesy sketchy night club on the property. It is the loudest place I've heard in a long time and brings in super nefarious characters onto the property. People walking around freely with huge bottles of liquor - no place to park for guests on the Friday night when the club was packed with loud attendees. I was very worried about our female athletes there to compete in a national rugby tournament. Not the type of people you want your young daughters around nor myself. The hotel staff were pretty rude and unhelpful when we pointed out some of these issues and asked for assistance. We won't be coming back.

The room I stayed in smelled like urine, which made me wonder about the cleanliness of the room. It didn't have carpet, which made me wonder where the intense urine smell was coming from. It's an old motel, that could use some more renovations. The free breakfast consisted of dry cereal, yogurt, bagels and make your own waffles. A little more selection (toast, sweet rolls, eggs, would be nice). I would not stay here again. Yuck!

This is an older motel with good access to the Interstate and major highways. It's located in an area with car dealers and other businesses. Staff and manager were friendly and very accommodating. Despite renovations, its age is showing. The rooms lack fire suppression sprinklers and smoke detectors. The locks are finicky and key cards are unreliable. All entrances to the property do require key card access and lighting is good. Breakfast is very limited and below average. Our first room did not have a door to the bathroom, which they said is a "modern" design that many of their rooms share. There is a good sized pool and a large outdoor entertainment area. We picked it based on price and reviews but it fell well short of our expectations.
