Hampton Inn & Suites St. Petersburg Downtown

Considering it was March break, we felt the rate was pretty good. Wish we had stayed a wee bit longer. Only downside was the traffic. As we were coming in from Orlando. Great location - close to The Pier and Museum of Fine Arts. Plus there's the downtown red trolley loop has a stop across the street. Staff were v pleasant and the breakfast good value too. Would definitely recommend.

This beautiful hotel was recently renovated from top to bottom. It is located directly across from a boardwalk and yacht club, and is right in the heart of restaurants, shops and the waterfront. The service was impeccable, and the breakfast was top notch with great options. Parking is mandatory valet, which is $25 and part of your hotel bill, but you can tip the valet employee. We will stay here again when in the area, this hotel has a ton of charm, has attentive care by the staff, is perfectly located on the water, and just has an amazing vibe, whether you’re with family or here on business. Best Hampton we’ve stayed at by far!

Yes, they said they were under construction and I expected that. But 1) when I checked out I was given a bill which I specifically asked included everything, including parking and was told the bill was FINAL - it was not. Ten days after I checked out they charged my CC additional fees (for parking). 2) The power went out around 10PM one night - no flashlights or any announcements as to what was happening. Yes, power outages were downtown St Pete but more could have been done to let hotel patrons know what was going on. I expected the construction but not surprise charges. Why not just say that parking is charged after you check out?

All recently remodeled. Great location. Very helpful staff. Karl the GM accommodated every request - fantastic stay. The location is right on the waterfront park, and the remodel was clearly done very recently. Walk to anywhere downtown very easily.
