Room was clean except for the floor which was not. Our feet turned black. Pool had green on the sides, not cleaned. Disappointed did not use. Breakfast was good and hotel was quiet. No one inquired about our stay when checked out so we did not report, only there 2 nights or would have.

I called the hotel directly and asked if they was downtown and they said yes. They are not downtown at all. The pool was totally green and nasty. The worst breakfast I have ever had at a best western. Definitely needs updated. Charges $15.00 to park and it’s not close to anything, what a joke.

Handicapped lodgers beware and not recommended. The room is ok, the AC is a bit tricky and don't be fooled by the wall unit- it is just there for decoration. The staff on night one was a bit rude and I wasn't expecting a nightly parking fee when I arrived. I overlooked the rudeness because everyone can have an off day. Night 2 was even worse. Upon returning from a tour, there was absolutely no parking. The handicapped parking was taken by a vehicle that didn't have a placard or tag. When we finally were able to get Pat to answer, she admits to allowing someone that isn't handicap to occupy that parking because all the other parking was already taken. Her advice was for us to park in the tow away zones or at the hotel next door. I didn't pay for parking at the hotel next door. When I state I'm calling corporate, she doesn't want me doing that. The sad part to all of this is Pat is also disabled and requires a cane but yet your willing to discriminate against others with issues. I can tell that Best Western really doesn't care about their patrons. While having to pay to park is normal for most places in St Augustine, I wouldn't pay a public lot that was full. You shouldn't charge for parking if you can't even accommodate your guests and they may or may not have a parking spot to use.

We had three rooms, two were fine however ours was an accessible room that was NOT. There were major thresholds to get into the room as well as the bathroom . Need a very hard push to get into the room and bathroom. My husband’s wheelchair is 28 inches wide so not a large one and we had to struggle to get him past the bed and dresser and desk in order to get to the bathroom. The shower was rollin with a shower chair but the controls for the water were up and the head was stationary. A person alone or without a strong caregiver could not use this room.

Nice comfortable and clean rooms for a very reasonable price. The front desk staff was very accommodating and housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast was okay, not great but not terrible. All in all a pleasurable stay. This place was very convenient to all St. Augustine attractions.
