Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach

We stayed 4 nights before and 2 nights after our cruise at the Hampton Inn. The hotel is modern, clean, and we felt safe throughout our stays. The free wi-fi worked well and the shower pressure was great. However, the pillows were too soft for our liking. Zach at the front reception desk provided excellent customer service. He was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The free breakfast was wonderful with lots of options and Merrill (I think that’s her name) was very kind and made sure items were fully stocked and tables were cleaned quickly. The hotel also provided a free “To Go” breakfast bag if you don’t have time for breakfast. A nice touch was the free coffee and hot water (tea bags, hot chocolate) that was available all day. Our request for a quiet room away from the elevators, ice machine and highway were met on both bookings although we did choose our room on both occasions and unfortunately our chosen room was not ready upon our return from our cruise, even though we arrived at 3:15 pm. Zach did his best to accommodate us with a similar type room. Thanks Zach! You’re the best! Just a few things to note, the bathroom door is also the closet door. It’s a sliding barn door that moved between the bathroom and the closet. It’s a great concept if the door glided very easily/smoothly but it was heavy to push and noisy. Luckily it was just my husband and I so we didn’t move the door very often. Also, another minor issue is the soap and soap dish provided. The soap dish did not have ridges so the wet soap would get stuck in the dish and kept getting very gummy. Also, since housekeeping is only provided every two days, maybe an extra couple of bath and hand towels would be nice. Overall we did enjoy our stay and would definitely return!

Stayed here as a stopover on the way to Davenport, after flying into Miami. Great location just off the main road. Staff friendly and helpful. Everywhere was very clean and the room was quite big. There were a good selection of options for the free breakfast (hot and cold) Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here before a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale. The hotel appeared to be brand new. Our room was clean and in great condition. The facility felt safe and the parking was adequate. The front desk at night was very kind and we enjoyed breakfast as well. We would stay here again!

We stayed at Hampton Inn, Pompano Beach for NYE 2024/25. Zach who works the front desk was an absolute gem! He was very friendly and accomodating. We are not from the area and he had great suggestions for us. He pointed us in the right direction, and we had an absolute blast to ring in the new year! Maria was also amazing, she was always working hard to keep the building clean. It was always smelling and looking great! We will be back!

Great smelling hotel and wonderful staff! I had a slight issue with the tv and a Maria came up to get it working properly! It was super impressive how quick and efficient she was. Maria deserves a raise! I will be booking this hotel again in the future!
