Bad hotel. I echo what other clients have been sharing in their reviews. Dirty, smells weed and pee. Several maintenance issues such as no water for 3 days, lights not working in the room and bathroom, phone cable cut, sink clogged. I brought the issues to reception. They wrote the issues down and said the maintenance guy would not come before Tuesday. I guess he never came and nothing was fixed. Location is good.

One of the most disgusting rooms Iâve ever seen. There was a dirty rag on the end table, dirt on the appliances, bugs in the shower and a terrible smell in the air. Also there was a man in the parking lot openly smoking weed. Very family friendly.

The place is run down and definitely not worth the price. We have stayed at other Extended Stayâs so we thought all would be well. Not so. Employees are polite and friendly. The shower nozzle is busted so it wonât adjust heights so hopefully you are only 5â7â . They donât have any extra blankets and the pull out wasnât made so in essence itâs just a couch. Speaking of the pull out I wouldnât let my dog sleep on the one in our room. Itâs stained and there is trash inside the frame.

Extended Stay America - Review (Poor communication, poor customer service and blatant Racism) After deciding to move to Orlando, FL, I booked a 1 month stint at Extended Stay America. It was listed as pet friendly hotel with no mention of an upcharge during the booking process. They did however simply make an extra charge of $28/Day to my credit card WITHOUT discussion or permission. When I Complained to the front desk, they had no desire to resolve the issue in a professional manner. Rather, they simply called the police to have me kicked-out- claiming that I didnât pay the pet fee. (Which I DID pay because they FORCIBLY put the fees on my credit card without notification or permission. (That is what we call - Credit Card Fraud). When they called the police they felt the need to call-out my ethnicity (Asian). It was the most racist moment I ever experienced in my life. (Imagine if you called the cops and said, âwell, theyâre Black so⊠what do you expect?â The police arrived and were as racist as the Extended Stay Front Desk. Saying they couldnât even allow me the required time to remove my property from the premises. I just had to âget-outâ immediately. When we went up to the room to speak to my CAUCASIAN husband, all of the officers attitudes changed in a split second. âHow much time do you need sir?â Etc. I thought moving to a Major American city would remove me from low IQ redneck and ghetto racism- apparently not! If you like poor communication, underhanded business practices and blatant racism, then Extended Stay America is definitely the hotel for you. Tell your friends.

I have stayed in hotels in all 50 states and many countries and I have NEVER had a hotel with as poor of customer service as this was. After allowing her to take pictures of our IDs with the company iPad (which was weird, but not completely unheard of with tourist heavy locations) we got on the elevator and went up to the third floor that smelled heavily of weed which isnât necessarily the hotelâs fault, but still a part of the experience. The room itself was fine, but when we just finished setting our stuff down we got a call from the front desk demanding why we let 2 more people in with our 4 that had checked in. I respectfully denied the allegations to which she threatened to call the cops unless we all came back down. Obviously we went back down and she became very defensive when she realized she was wrong. A little shaken up we went back up the elevator and decided to go back down a couple hours later and discuss how we felt wrongfully accused and really didnât feel welcome or granted kind customer service. Again she was defensive and insisted that she had apologized and really it just felt like we got further reprimanded rather than her apologizing and asking how she could rectify her mistake. I told her it seemed like she was having a long night and she was the only one working so we understood her frustration with whatever had happened with other guests and it came out on us. Since there wasnât anything she could do to discount our stay, I figured I could at least warn others. Do not stay here if you are big on customer service. Youâve been warned.
