Villas at Fortune Place

we brought the grandbaby down, to enjoy a week, but we didn’t want to stay in the craziness of the theme park areas. This was the perfect location for us, it was right off the turnpike, we were close to Publix for groceries, the unit had a large kitchen to cook in. I love the fact that we had a choice of pools. The hot tub was large and nice and warm, the grandbaby loved playing golf on their little putting green, the staff was extremely friendly and nice. Great location,

This is a nice, clean unit, Perfect base for families with kids to acess the attractions. We had two minor issues, a burned out light bulb and a broken can opener and one call got them fixed at once. Only caveat is that if you plan to cook, come prepared as the equipment is very limited. Only bowls are for salad. Head to serve potato salad in a pot and VERY cheap, flimsy knives, all serrated, the kind you can easily cut yourself with. Beds are comfortable but are doubles, not queens. Keys Supermarket, Latin Market is next door, which is handy. All in all, nice place.

Spent a week here, they are close to everything from universal and disney. Plenty of room and space, walking distance to a store and gas station. They had amenities like the pool and playground that helped to not feel cooped up after a long day. Staff is very nice.

We had a 3 bedroom for 10 days that was more than adequate for sleeping on the 4 days that we went to Disney and our two travel days. Our grandchildren didn't need a water park and also made good use of the basketball & tennis courts, playground, shuffle board. The kitchen was minimally outfitted, but hot dogs and beans was doable.
