We decided to take a last minute trip to Key West - with our dogs. Even with our Gold Member status with a big hotel brand I couldn't get a better rate, and this historic hotel is beautiful, pet friendly, with a pool, breakfast included, a tiki bar for happy hour and a location pretty close to Duval so it wasn't a very long walk at all. It's my favorite colors - pink & teal! The beds, pillows and linens are so fresh, clean, cottony and really truly comfortable. The whole place is so clean, the staff is so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Such a great experience we decided to stay an extra night.

Beautiful hotel with a charming Key West vibe. The rooms are tastefully decorated and feel very welcoming. The breakfast was surprisingly good, offering a nice variety of fresh options each morning. The staff were friendly and eager to help with any questions or suggestions about local activities. The only real downside was that the walls are a bit thin, so you can hear neighbors and people passing outside. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, though, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its lovely atmosphere, great location, and delicious breakfast.

Lovely location and suited our needs. Small quaint Key West establishment with nice amenities. I liked the tiki bar by the pool to relax in the evening and breakfast in the morning. The staff was lovely and attentive. The suite we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The only downside was while the bed was a nice king there was not a lot of room to walk around it. Our room was on the street side and viewed a communal seating area with a porch swing. There was a chair just outside our door where people would sit and smoke, which I was not at all happy about. The smell wafted into our room. The restroom was ok and could use a refresh, the shower was tight and was one of those encapsulated fixtures. All in all I would stay there again and I would recommend it.

In general, I was satisfied with my 2-night stay at the hotel. I visited it during Thanksgiving. The hotel is recently remodeled, and its design is nice and charming, featuring bright, fun paint colors. The hotel consists of several buildings with a nice swimming pool area. There is also a small parking lot at the back, which is free of charge, though finding a spot can be challenging. My check-in was fast and easy, but I have to say that the front desk staff I interacted with during my stay weren’t very friendly. On the positive side, I called the hotel a day before my arrival to request a room on a high floor, and they honored my request. I was assigned a Standard Room with a Queen Bed on the second floor, which I appreciated. However, the hotel has a few strict and silly rules/fees, such as a Noise Complaint Fee of $75 per complaint and an insane Non-Registered Pet Fee of $150. Additionally, the hotel charges around $30 (if I remember correctly) for renting a bike, but the bikes are old, heavy, and poorly maintained, with many having low air in the tires. These bikes should either cost a small amount or, ideally, be free for guests. My Standard Room was tiny, but I liked its cute design and felt fairly comfortable. All the furniture was in good condition. The biggest downside was the lack of privacy and weak soundproofing, even though the room was on the second floor. My windows faced the pool area, which was busy during the morning and daytime, with loud kids adding to the noise, even with the windows closed. I also had to keep the curtains drawn, as people at the pool and those walking past the second-floor hallway (one window was right across the stairwell) could clearly see into my room. This made the room darker and less inviting, as it blocked natural daylight. Having a lamp-fan was a big plus, as I hated the small air conditioner, which was located across the bed under the window and blew super cold air directly at me. I only used the fan during my stay. The Queen bed was very comfortable. Another downside was the very small closet, especially the limited hanging space; moreover, there were only a few hangers for clothes. Unfortunately, the bathroom was tiny and uncomfortable. The shower stall felt tight, and the toilet was unpleasantly low, and there was no toilet brush provided. The bathroom amenities were of poor quality and didn’t smell nice. The hotel’s Wi-Fi worked well. The hotel’s location isn’t exactly in the center of Key West, but the distance is walkable. It took me about 13 minutes to reach the main street in the heart of town or the waterfront. The best way to explore the town is definitely by bike, but, as I mentioned, the hotel’s bikes are not great. For my stay, I paid $167 per night (including taxes and fees), and honestly, I found this rate slightly overpriced for the tiny room I got. I believe a fair price for my room type would be around $100 per night. Anyway, I can definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay in Key West. It perfectly mirrors the Key West vibes and adds a bit of charm to your vacation, thanks to its cute design!
