My husband was a little reluctant to go to a place he'd never heard of, but the price was the lowest around and we read positive reviews on another site so decided to give it a try. Young lady at front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Room was decorated by someone with different taste than mine but the main room and bathroom were spotless and spacious. We chose a room with a door opening to the outside to let in fresh air - something l value a lot but which is increasingly not available. (There are also rooms here accessible only from the inside.) Included were a medium-sized round table with two chairs, a mini fridge, and a microwave. The king-sized bed was soft without being saggy, so quite comfortable. Pillows were firm - as are most hotel pillows - but we've learned to bring our own. It was only about three minutes off the highway but tucked away into a quiet place with lots of trees, which was really nice. We would definitely stay here again, but here are the small downsides we experienced (most or all likely only associated with that room [153] and/or temporary): We struggled getting the key to open the door. (Once inside, if the top lock was used in addition to the bottom one, it took strength and pulling to not be locked in.) When we first entered, lights were on and the TV was on at full volume. (Person at front desk explained this was probably due to housekeeping testing the TV and forgetting to turn it off.) Husband tried lowering the volume and turning it off using the remote control without success. He was able to turn it off by touching a button on the TV. On the bed were a bottom sheet, top sheet, and mid- weight soft blanket/bedspread. In summer we would have appreciated a light-weight blanket. Note that we checked in shortly before staff went off duty at midnight; it is quite possible that, if notified, they would have supplied us with new batteries for the remote control and an alternate blanket. Water pressure in shower was good, but those over six feet tall would have to bend his head to wash it. Toilet was a little low for someone with bad knees, but there is enough nearby to grab onto. Unusual policy of requesting a security deposit to be refunded a couple of days after checkout after room is inspected - but worth it for the rate which l believe was in the low sixty dollars.

Nice room for a very nice price. Then there's the service. Room had a coffee maker, but I did not notice until morning that there was no coffee. There's no room phone for calling the desk, so I went to the lobby, told them about it, and got coffee there. Out all day, and late at night when I got back the room had not been serviced, not touched at all. So no coffee next morning, and none in the lobby. Tried to take a shower, and the lever came off in my hand. I managed to get the water turned off, then left.

I stayed at the APM Inn & Suites over ten times between August to December 2018. The pool area is a work in progress and under renovation thru that time. The rooms were clean and well setup for longer stays. All the basics are there and working. (TV with cable, Microwave, Fridg, hot plate and even cooking pans.) AC and Heaters worked well and bathrooms were clean, fresh towels available at front desk or every other day. Vehicles in parking lot were safe and no problems with safety. Longer term residence (construction crews) were pleasant and caused no problems. I took my own trash to the dumpsters daily. Front desk staff was pleasant and flexible with my very early departure times and unpredictable reservation needs based on Job. If your on a budget, don't require "the Ritz" and can manage yourself (Act like an Adult), APM is a bargain that will meet your needs.
