Sun N Fun Beachfront Vacation Rentals

This was our 10th year staying here with family. Super clean and we love having a “private” beach, even had a fire in the pit one night. Every sunrise and sunset was picture perfect and it has the best restaurants anywhere. Wes and his staff are FANTASTIC!!!

Our visit was very distracted by the property,s appearance. The property was advertised as a well maintained pleasant Beach front premises. The owner provides a bragging detail about the history of the property and lures the visitor into a false representation of the real appearance. Reality....guests are greeted in the parking lot with flower planters that are falling apart and crumbling. No plants in them and dirt falling out. The grills.....there are four in various states of salvaged ..one worked. The fence line of the property was littered with accumulated discarded items ( rubber totes, broken lawn furniture, beach umbrellas, garden tools , broken plastic shelves and other items). This discarded pile was four feet high. The laundry room has baskets of soiled towels and sheets all balled up ....they stayed there all week. The laundry room has open shelves filled with mouse/rat poison and traps. Outside the laundry room a storage bin has the doors wide open with cleaning chemicals accessible to anyone walking past.(Children). The advertised availability for bicycles ....well there is a pile of bikes that appear to have just left. They are amongst the pile of accumulated items and are in various states of repair. We witnessed guest using their own power tool to fix deck boards to avoid walking hazards. Other guests during our visit echoed their displeasure in the property. Considering the price we paid, photos and the promoted owner description. Boy did we get disappointed .

Our 10th stay was another wonderful time at Sun n Fun! The last time we were there in Nov 2024 it was for a family reunion of 28 people. Couldn’t have a better host. Not the Ritz but that’s to be expected from a house build in 1925. But the location couldn’t be better! We’ll be back soon!

Unit was dirty, microwave, smoke alarm & some outlets were not working. Nothing seemed up to code, wiring looked sketchy, our deck & steps were very dangerous & we found palmetto bugs in our unit. Out of 6 units, no one admitted to coming back. The property sat on the most beautiful spot on the gulf tho!! I’ll give you that!

Sun N Fun survived 2 hurricanes in a month, was ready for us by the tireless work of the owner. Been here numerous times, absolutely our favorite place to be on the beach. Tried to help to support businesses and restaurants in the area that were trying to re-open. Sun N Fun is not for everyone, but it fits our needs well.
