A last minute decision and U do not regret it. Clean rooms. Had its own pool. Short walk to the beach. I loved the idea it was not crowded. If there was an issue they were right on it. Plan on going back. Thank you La Villa Resort for making one of our vacations a great one.

I made a last minute reservation for a one night stay for a business meeting. I was flying in at the last minute and didn't know what to expect. The staff was very, very helpful in leaving a key in a lock box for my late night arrival. My room was the Key West room right next to the office and was recently remodeled. This is a old mom and pop hotel and the room was unconventional in layout. Lovely and huge living, kitchenette, walk in bathroom and shower and TV. Very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable and the whole place was spotless. The beach is about 300 steps away. Just a quick walk through the parking lot, over a small footbridge, through the trees and there you are on the beach!. There is one downside to my room, that is its on the corner of the building and close to the road and can be noisy with traffic in the morning. However there are plenty of other rooms that would be much quieter. The owners just bought the facility last month and clearly care about guest experience. I paid about $220 for the night and was the most inexpensive room I could find with a decent review. The La Villa FAR exceeded my expectations plus I was just steps from the gulf in the morning.

We stayed at La Villa this week and we were pleasantly surprised. Hotel is under new management and is much much better than the last few years we had visited. Rooms are huge, but now they are professionally clean. Location is amazing , few feet from the beach and few minutes from the main island attractions thatās why we came back. Seems new management really try to turn this hotel around, and we are seeing the difference already. We will be back next year!

We stayed 3 nights at the La Villa Resort. We were in room 2 in building 1. This room had 2 double beds, TV, A/C, and a ceiling fan, a table and 2 straight chairs, a comfortable swivel rocking chair, and an iron and ironing board. The kitchen had a full fridge and stove, a coffee maker, and toaster. There was a pool outside with both chairs and lounge chairs. The beach was just a short walk (one block) away, and beach parking was free if you had a handicap tag, if you needed it. The room was not perfect. It was old, and showed it. The kitchen stove looked ancient, and the fridge door opened on the wrong side. The floor was swept clean, but needed to be mopped clean. I told the nice guy at the front office about this, and hopefully it has been taken care of. For the price (especially during Spring Break), it was OK for us. The location was just across from the library.

I couldnāt find any reviews and decided to take a chance. It used to be called the gulf front motel. (I didnāt realize this when I booked it). Feel free to read the reviews. The furniture is half broken down and dirty. The smell of mold is so bad, I had to take a walk to keep from getting sick. The door has no deadbolt and has obvious evidence of people breaking in. I cannot believe they can justify charging people over $225 per night for this dump. As a frequent traveler, I expect very little for the price, but I would rather sleep in my car than to ever stay here again. On a positive note, the guy working in the office was very friendly.
