- great price - room was spacious and the bathroom was a good size - could walk the beach up to the city centre - about 15 min. - No counter to set things out on, in the bathroom - Two of the outlets in the room didnāt work - Towels clean, but thin and stained - Looks like itās been renoād recently - floors looked new - made of tile - Clean - Comfy bed and pillows - Bedspread had hole in it - Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke when we arrived. We left the door open to air it out. - Had a couch and a small table and chairs - Nice big dresser and two more night tables - quaint; not typical hotel furniture, small closet - Small microwave & mini fridge with tiny freezer - Rm 111 was at the back, away from the busy street - No Kleenex - The air conditioning unit was loud when it cycled on (it was like an in-window unit) - Walls are thin. Can hear people talking outside the door. But I put in an ear plugs and slept well. I took the ear plug out in the middle of the night and was fine. I put it back in, in the wee hours, just in case it got loud if people were leaving early. - High pitched buzz at different times - Bathroom door was degrading at a bottom corner and the closet door needed painting, as did the closet rod. Rust on the bathroom outlet and paint. - No fitted sheet, so the bottom sheet pulled out a bit

TLDR: Room 101 was pretty freaking great for the price! I would write more reviews if you could reply to others. Seriously. It's Daytona Beach and you filtered by lowest on Priceline. What do you expect? Last minute July 4th trip. Fridge/Microwave, cold AC, and a HUGE bathroom for our beach gear. Bring instant coffee, extra towels, and sleeping bags to go over their fluffy beds. No neighbor noise, creepy crawlies, or bites through the five days... also no room service. Perfect location across from the beach by a lifeguard and the splash zone bathrooms. Their decent size pool only had a few chairs so we used our beach chairs. A lot of other hotel pools are still being renovated (in small print next to the resort fees) from the storms. $10 Uber to the band shell... 15-minute walk. At 10 am they were at our door even though the parking lot was empty post-holiday. Gladly paid an extra $10hr for "late" checkout. The staff and owners were all nice. This area has seen a lot and has been through a lot. Our friend forfeited his San Marino booking to stay here. Surprising, since it honestly looked nicer online. I guess cheaper hotels are always hit or miss on the rooms.

I was extremely skeptical when my friend arranged for us to get a room at this motel, but it wasn't too bad. It is very basic, but that's to be expected. The good things--there were no smells in the room, the sheets were clean, the AC and TV worked fine, the shower was good, the bathroom was big, the location is good. The negatives were--there was a bug in the bathroom, a loud party took place late at night and no one stopped it, there is no chair in the room and no window. The owner was business-like but very helpful. This is a good place if you're just looking for a place to sleep and take a shower.

I stayed here over the weekend 2/12 to 2/14. They called me twice during the day to make sure I was coming and told them I would check in by 7 pm. I showed up at 6:45 and they were just getting the room ready. I stayed here 2 years ago and it wasn't really the greatest but this time I would have been better on a park bench. Should be a hotel rented by the hour if you know what I mean. NEVER STAYING THERE AGAIN. And I advise everyone else the same.
