Holiday Inn & Suites Lake City an IHG Hotel

Great hotel. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Quiet. Each room equipped with microwave, Keurig and decent size fridge. Only down side not green/eco friendly. Typical toxic cleaners and personal care items, over use of plastic, and no recycling that I could find.

Check in was a breeze. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was super clean, spacious and totally comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. The attendant in the breakfast area constantly refilled items and was very friendly. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Worn out. Looks a a little like a war zone. I would pass up this hotel and we usually like at Holiday Inn Express. Time to shut this hotel down and remodel everything. Not very clean either. Everything is chipped and it looks like someone tried to pry our door open at some point.

Wow!!!! What a great experience. I arrived at the hotel and when I went to check in Alexis discovered that my reservation was accidentally canceled because of snow. It should have been the one in Kentucky cancelled not this one. Alexis was excellent. She didn’t just say sorry she got with her manager and Stephania went to work to find out what happened. Once she found out that my reservation was accidentally cancelled she started to work. She not only got me a room but at the previous rate. Thanks to the great service from Alexis and Stephania this will be my go to hotel when I come to Lake City. Thank you both for making what could have been stressful situation easy.

We returned here for the second time but 1st in almost 5 years. We received an upgrade to best room in house due to my IHG Diamond status. I also receive free breakfast for 2 as a Diamond benefit. Breakfast is from a menu and was freshly prepared and very good. Diamond parking spaces were already taken; they need a few more but enforcement is questionable! We got a decent rate as well. The room was good with 2 rooms plus ensuite bathroom. The living room had sofa, chairs, a TV plus a kitchenette area. We didn't prepare any meals, however. Bedroom had bed, closets, drawers, a desk, TV, chair in corner, etc. Everything was very clean although the room shows the age of the hotel. Bathroom had tub, which is rare these day, but appreciated. It's probably time for some modern upgrades. It was much quieter this time unlike last time when dozens of teenagers were staying and making lots of noise that reverberated throughout the atrium! All was good, clean, and did the job. We will most likely stay here next time we need a hotel at this exit!
