We stayed at this hotel two weeks ago for 6 days and it was a completely different experience than when we stayed there a couple of years ago. Sandy, the general Manager has come in and updated all the rooms, with new furniture, new paint etc. The mattresses and pillows felt luxurious. The lobby was updated (although we didn't have any complaints with it before) and the pool and food offered pool side were first rate the time before as well as now. The breakfast offerings were some of the best we have ever had at any hotel. We got to meet Sandy this time and she was so gracious and made us feel special. And it was one of the friendliest staffs, down to the maids that clean the rooms. The pool overlooking the beach is so fun. We honestly can't wait to go back. Sandy deserves many kudos for the job she is doing there. Darelyn McCarter

We and our extended family have stayed at The Residence Inn Oceanfront almost every year for the last 10 years. Paul was working at the front desk when we arrived. As a business owner, I would be proud to have him represent my company. He was efficient, kind and informative about our stay. The pride he took in doing his job in a professional manner was obvious. Without a doubt he was the best employee we have ever worked with at this hotel. Also, the renovated rooms were greatly appreciated.

We started our Stay on February 21, 2025. We arrived early and were accommodated with an early check in. We got settled and went to the bar and ordered food and drink. The food, atmosphere and the lovely bartender, Sarah, were wonderful. We ended up eating there Friday night and Saturday night as well. We enjoyed drinks by the pool and once again on Saturday had the pleasure of having Sarah as our bartender. This was our first trip to Daytona and we will definitely be back.

lovely clean tidy modern hotel with great access to the beach and swimming pool was well maintained l. breakfast buffet was great and food was well presented and cooked. all staff were polite and pleasant and very helpful. also close to all amenities

Amazing. This is a Transformation, not a renovation! We stayed at this hotel a few times befire and the hotel was appearing tired. But under the new GM Sandra Ellis the entire property is being revamped. She works long hours and her attention to detail is apparent. She is the catalyst. Freshly painted with new flooring/carpeting, modern comfortable furniture and curtains, and stunning new lights throughout the hotel. Pool deck has new furniture as well. Much of the staff has changed, and so has their attitude. Everyone is so conscientious and friendly, and the hotel is extremely clean. Housekeeping exceeded our expectations. Someone is always cleaning the halls and elevators. They all seem to really care. Sandy should be proud of this transformation. Oh and views are still spectacular!! We will absolutely be back!
