I've loved the Tabard Inn for longer than the age of most of the staff. I knew it when the original couple owned it and like that it's now employee-owned. It's less dusty than in the past but just as quirky and interesting with every room different from the next. I love the lavender room on the first floor, the yellow one and green one on the second. I'm at an age when 3d and 4th floor our out of my reach.😍

Exactly what we expected ! Great charm , great location , friendly employees , great price . DO NOT forget no TV in the rooms and no elevator but only 3 floors so no big deal . Should experience at least once when you are in DC . Great restaurants and bats around as well !

Great atmosphere loved my breakfast. Thank you so much. Fun eclectic rooms to stay in. My bed was very comfortable. Please note my room had no tv which was heavenly. Great WiFi though. I will stay again. But beware. No elevators. So be ready for stairs. The manager kindly helped me with my bag.

loved my stay, beautiful with a lot of old charm. I also loved seeing that it was employee owned. Would 100% rather stay in a local business than an international corporation that puts profits over people. The staff was also really helpful, we accidently booked for the wrong night, and they worked with us on the spot to get another room.

This was a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone. I would only let them know about the extra steps to the penthouse. There is a place to get dinner and breakfast attached. The room was clean and really spacious. If I stay for a week in DC I would rent this again.
