Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Washington DC Downtown

I had a truly wonderful stay at the Marriott in Chinatown DC! From the moment we arrived, we were met with genuine warmth and hospitality. The entire staff was fantastic, but I have to give a special shoutout to the valet team—they were absolutely incredible. So kind, attentive, and helpful every single time we came and went. Whether it was offering directions, helping us with bags, or just greeting us with a smile, they really made our stay feel extra special. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in the perfect location. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back!

Excellent location for conducting business on Capital Hill. Easy launch point for governmental agencies without the expense of those other brands. Beds were super comfortable with no aching back in the morning. Our valet, Shimelis was so helpful and offered solutions to getting into our car to retrieve coats on a cold morning. He was truly happy to be of assistance to us. Thanks to the rest of the staff as well.

My husband and I took a short get away in mid-February. The location of this hotel was perfect. We had an easy walk (although cold) to the Smithsonian and National Gallery of Art. When we arrived, there was someone available to meet us, help us inside and parked the car. The registration staff throughout the stay were customer friendly and helpful in answering questions. It happened to be a busy few days in the hotel, however customer service was seamless. It was equally easy to have our car retrieved by Shimelis and he helped to get us packed back up and on our way. We would choose to return to this location. Customer friendly, clean, seamless service. Well done!

Awesome location for quick access to chinatown and surrounding area. We’ve stayed at several other hotels w/in a block or two previously. This hotel has the best service! Their employees are enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the extra friendliness of the valet staff. Shimelis is an asset to your establishment. Thank you for a lovely stay.
