Summer Place Hotel

A wonderful hotel with excellent service. The location is top, very convenient for visitors. The rooms are clean, they clean every day. The staff is polite, for a regular holiday I think the best choice. The room we stayed in had all the basic amenities. Respect from Kazakhstan Mafia

I’ve stayed at the Summer Place Hotel in Rehoboth Beach last year, and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the experience. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and incredibly convenient place to stay right near the boardwalk, this is it! The location is unbeatable — literally a minute walk from both the beach and the main drag of shops and restaurants. I loved being able to grab coffee in the morning, hit the beach, and then stroll to dinner without ever moving my car. The room was exactly what I needed — simple but comfortable, with a cozy bed, cold A/C, microwave, fridge, and cable TV. Everything was clean and tidy when I arrived. I also appreciated how quiet it was at night, especially for a place so close to the action. Staff were super friendly and helpful — check-in was a breeze, and they were happy to recommend some great local spots to eat and explore. I also liked that they gave me a parking pass, which made things so much easier. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it doesn’t pretend to be. What you get is a cozy, beachy vibe in a fantastic location — and for the price, it’s an amazing value. I honestly didn’t want to leave.

Dan has been running this place forever. It's the last place of its kind in Rehoboth. Absolutely everything is walkable. The beach is so close. Use a parking pass, park your car and you won't need it until it's time to leave. It's the beach-how much time do you spend in the room? A basic room with fridge and microwave. Perfect for a beach vacation! No place better than Rehoboth!

Great location! We parked the car then walked everywhere. The room was clean. The staff was responsive to all my questions. They even offered the parking permit so we didn't have to pay the street parking meters. This hotel was a Great choice for our first trip to Rehoboth Beach!

In no way do the photos anywhere online match the molding, decaying, dirty room I had the misfortune of staying in. Electrical outlets seemed to be "floating" and did not support use. The door to the room was less then secure, as the door jam appeared to be damaged.
