I was a guest at the Homewood Suites by Hilton @ 338 Asylum St., Hartford, Connecticut from 3/5/2020 through 3/8/2020. Unfortunately, my stay was disrupted by bed bugs we discovered in the bed of our room (rm 613). Not only did we find them in the bed, but I received 3 bites (see photo attached). In addition to this misery, we were later denied the original offer of full compensation for our 3 night's stay. Rather, we were given only 1 night's compensation. We missed some of our conference, ultimately losing money, as we had to spend time washing and drying our clothing in the hotels washing machines ourselves (although they provided the quarters). We had to take precautionary measures to ensure we do not infest our own homes or cars where our families would be at risk. I emailed Ty Coleman, manager, requesting that the initial offer of 3 night's compensation be honored. To date I havenât even gotten a response (May 2,2020).

Centrally located. Big room. Had all the amenities that are necessary with breakfast included and evening reception. Decor is a bit dated here and there. The bathroom is basic but oddly laid out. Wish there was a makeup mirror and better lighting in the vanity/sink area. Also there wasnât a towel rod near the sink so you had to walk around looking for the towels to dry you hands. Odd. But overall you age everything one would need for a short or medium length stay.

Located right in the heart of Hartford. Local "DASH" bus can take you anywhere on the downtown loop for free. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Toni at the front desk was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

Dingy, dirty room. Canât understand how this ever rated as a Homewood- strange layout in room, bathroom opened into the kitchen. Smallest living area ever seen in a Homewood and we had a two bedroom suite. Staff was great, sorry they have to work in this place. The price was ridiculous as well.

Wonderful venue for my daughter's wedding, clean, comfortable, excellent staff. Would recommend highly !!!!!!! There was not a single problem, we all enjoyed our stay and would come back again for sure !!
