The positive of this hotel is clean rooms, beautiful view. They have great lockers for skis. The bed is comfortable. The hot tub was nice and outside. Some negatives It is hard to get to the ski area, the cabriolet lift drops you on one side of the village and you have to walk to the other side. The male staff were dismissive, Cameron didnāt believe that I couldāt find the bedding that should have been in the room and told me to go look more and call if I couldnāt find it. I told them the phones were going to voice mail. They did not apologize for either down but then did bring me the sheets later so we could make up the couch bed. I told them that it looked like the comforter should have a duvet cover. He asked what a duvet cover was and offered another blanket. I declined. Later I was told they just washed the comforter with every guest. I asked later some female staff for a comforter cover , they said they would get them, the third request they stated they actually just washed the blankets. Later I asked another male staff member about check out time and parking, he answered without looking at me in very brief terms. It was awkward and not what you would expect from a hotel staff member. So in Summary the hotel is great but they staff could be more professional.

Room had a very stale smell. Service was obnoxious when car got stuck due to lack of plowing after snow storm. Staff was not only unhelpful but drew penisā on both sides of the car. Check the cams from 2/21/25. And donāt expect your rooms to be cleaned. They donāt do that. Have to ask twice for fresh towels.

This review is relatively objective - stayed for one night solo in July during a 47 night/25 property USA road trip. Easily found alongside the highway with plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Itās a large modernish hotel (as per the photographs) somewhat lacking in any atmosphere during the summer. Guess in the winter it would be better. As to be expected, a large, clean, comfortable and well equipped room. No functioning restaurant/breakfast. Convenient for the eateries/activities in the nearby āentertainmentā area. Did the job of providing a clean bed for the night as nearby Grand Lake was āfullā with a festival/concert. Average value for this type of property.

My husband found a great deal to stay in this hotel or we may have missed it. We had 3 adults and 3 dogs in one room, and we sometimes have trouble finding hotels that allow dogs, so allowing 3 in the room was a must and they didn't even pause before saying yes. This is a very nice hotel, comfortable, great location, friendly staff, clean, well kept property. AND, I would say they are not only dog FRIENDLY but they are dog LOVING! The staff were all friendly with our dogs, there's a treat jar on the front desk, lots of grass close to the building for pottying, poop bags and trash cans at every entrance and a roll of paper towels in the room! When we checked in, each dog received a bag with 2 tennis balls, a large, locally made dog treat, a sign for the outside of the door that a fur family was staying there (great in case rescuers were needed, like in a fire) and a sheet to throw over the bed (to help cut down on housekeeping). The only sort of down side we could see is they don't have housekeeping during the stay, but they were great about changing out towels and emptying trash on request. We will def be back!

I liked this place a lot but I'm going to start with a negative. It has a poor appearance as you approach. A sign says it was established in 1986 but the faƧade looks like 1960s or 70s. Brown and orange. The rooms are excellent with added amenities like a fireplace (not working off season), a full kitchen, a real coffee maker with real coffee and real mugs. Not the paper cups and fake coffee like most hotels. There are extra pillows, bedding and towels in the closet along with a humidifier, a fan (no AC) and ironing board. The swimming pool and hot tub are both nice. I recommend this pet friendly hotel that is close to the ski village. It even has a gondola from the parking area to the ski lift gondola.
