We just checked in to unit 305 and the condo is not very clean specially the shower floor. Also there is no hand soap in the bathrooms. I just call the 970-476-5200 to request the hand soap and extra pool towel and she told me they are closed and what I need is not an emergency that if I really need the soap to go to the store and buy one. As for the extra pool towel I requested, we need to wait until tomorrow at 8:00 am. No tissue . we are paying a lot of money to stay so we’re expecting at least the basic . Last year we came and we stayed with at lion square Lodge managed by Vacasa and I would highly recommend them. Attention to details, transportation where you need to go and front desk always available.

Great first time in Vail. These units are very central with brief walks either way to the villages. Once we arrived we had no need for the car. The parking garage is very near with plenty of luggage carts around for getting your gear to your room easily. There was plenty of extras like coffee filters and salt and pepper that some rentals obviously keep or throw away. Not sure about other units, but 305 was very much in need of some updates. Door hardware was very worn out. Dated bath fixtures, etc. Nothing that impacted our trip, but if you are a persnickety traveler this may be a disappointment. We had a two bedroom, two bath unit for two couples. More than enough room for comfort, cooking and dining. We visited in August, obviously the off season for a ski village, so parking and restaurant waits were not an issue. As much as we enjoyed our stay, our preference for summer mountain visits is Breckinridge. Perhaps the highway running thru Vail takes a little bit of the serenity away. None the less, we had a wonderful time. Thanks Vail International for a pleasant stay! Happy travels!

Our family has stayed at Vail International on several occasions, always with good results. The location is great - right in Lionshead and just steps from the free bus. The Staff has always been super helpful and friendly. This time they helped get the construction noise going on in the unit above us shut down during our stay. It was just awful. The units are mostly all the same...two bedrooms, two baths (one super small)!! We're generally always happy with our visits to Vail International. My following comments are relative to this unit in particular. The best thing I can say about this unit #207 is that the kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly want. Wish there was a Keurig coffee machine. This unit has the bare essentials and even so need to be updated. The couches in the living room need to be replaced. The dining room set is beat up. The bed linens are less than crisp and the pillows are flat. The blankets don't fit the bed in the big bedroom. Again, furniture needs to be updated. It would appear that no effort has been made to portray any "style" here. Shows a lack of "care". It also looks like some attempt has been made to do some remodel in the living room and bedroom ceilings, making it look like ceiling beams. There are major gaps between the pseudo beams and the ceiling. The toilets were not bolted to the floor and were a couple of the smallest I have ever seen in a rental condo. There were other issues and my Son actually left a left a list for the Maintenance crew of several "fixes" that were needed. We're coming back for a month next year, but certainly won't request this unit. This is is in no way a reflection on the Staff at Vail International, just a "heads up" to the owner of this particular unit.

I spent a week here in August with my adult Son and teen Grandson. The condo and the location were great. We have stayed here as a family in the past so I was familiar with the facility. Our two-bedroom unit on the second floor was perfect for us. The Unit #202, was well appointed and super clean, The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The living room had a big, comfortable sectional couch with pillows and throws, plus a comfortable recliner chair. We enjoyed the fireplace on a couple of mornings.,yes it was cool in August!! The beds were comfortable and the linens/towels were of good quality. The main bathroom is a tad small, but not a "deal breaker". The second bathroom is SO small. Someone could get lodged in that shower!! The Front Desk Stqff and the Manager are friendly and responsive to situations that may arise, The location is one of the best in Vail/Lionshead. The grocery store is within walkable distance, along with all of the restaurants and shops in Lionshead. The free Vail bus stop is just steps away if you choose to ride to Vail Village. Vail International has been around for some time, but they are doing a good job of keeping units, grounds, etc. updated. Prices are reasonable for Vail/Lionshead. I felt that some establishments, both hotels and restaurants, were trying to make up for their possible losses due to COVID last year, It was obvious that hiring is a problem as some restaurants were closed on some days. No notice, no pattern. Hoping for better situation next year, Thanks to the Staff at Vail International!!

With COVID we were hesitant to travel but after getting vaccinated decided to go to Vail for the last week of the season. The location was perfect as we just walked down to Lionshead to the Gondola, ticket office, rental shops, and restaurants. Never had to use our car once. Mr. Smith and his staff are the most cordial and helpful hospitality people I've ever had the pleasure to deal with. The view, elevators, outdoor hot tub, ski lockers, fireplaces, kitchens, and shuttle behind the building (if you even need to use it) make this place a home run on every level.
