Legacy Vacation Resorts Steamboat Suites

Room not ready. Maintenance took 3 days to deal with 2 problem drains. Many employees don’t speak English. Not enough towels. Shampoos not filled. I think they are changing owners and it shows. It is a great location. Shuttle service spotty.

Legacy Resorts Steamboat Springs: it was a quick overnight stay on route south from Grand Teton National Park. Yes, there is some refurbishment going on, and I’m unsure if we were in a refurbish room. It was tidy and clean with ample facilities for an extended stay. Check-in staff are very efficient and friendly with complimentary coffee and pastries for breakfast, a very pleasant stay at a reasonable cost.

We had a 2 BR, 2 BA apartment that appeared to have just been remodelled for the price of a normal hotel room. The kitchen was fully outfitted, including a full coffee pot with good coffee. Bathroom was custom tiled, not just a standard fitted shower unit. Great location, across the road from Safeway and Walgreens, and a Walmart around the corner. Halfway between gondola and town, just off the main street. There was a simple grab n go breakfast provided, which worked so we had a bagel and fruit. Staff pleasant. Nice to have a balcony that overlooked the picnic area, pine trees and a mini golf setup. Only glitches were lack of a bedside light, and one bathroom door needed repair. Would fully recommend!

Great location !! Near everything. Walk to stores and Yampa River trail. Good size rooms and recently updated. Outside and grounds are dated and need work. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Stayed in 2 bedroom unit on first floor. Beds were comfy.

I was charged an additional $500 for... get this... PET FUR on the bed. This hotel advertises they are "dog friendly", I notified that I had a dog, and then my dog left some fur on the bed. I called the hotel and they stated they had to spend "extra hours" cleaning because there was pet fur. Absolutely insane. I spoke to Jose Loya who is supposedly the manager and asked to speak to his boss. His reply... "figure it out" and then he hung up on me. Stay at your own risk. It seems they're looking to screw people with excessive bs charges.
