Fireside Cabins

Really nice cabin, clean, quiet, comfortable, 3/4 bath. Kitchenette (and the freezer works), porch. Next to the river, catch and release no-bait fishing allowed. Property has a hot tub. Perfect for traveling with a dog though not allowed on furniture.

My two brothers and I stayed at Fireside Cabins for three days in February. Lisa, the host, was welcoming and kind. Our two-bedroom cabin, which included a futon in the living room, was spotless and well-stocked with everything we needed. The gas-powered stove in the living room kept it warm and cozy. The kitchen had a sink, stove, microwave, oven, and full-size refrigerator with a freezer. Parking was available in front and on the side. We had a great experience and will definitely return. Highly recommended!

We stayed for two nights ran out of toilet paper and had to go all the way up to the office to get it ourselves.. there was no trash bags either in the room the bed is uncomfortable!! And my deposit was kept because the trash was full which I wasn't warned about and whoever the maid is isn't comfortable taking out trash!! So that cost me a hidden $180!!!

While the cabin was clean, number one thing on our list, it was pretty small even for just the 2 of us. The bathroom pedestal sink was pressed in between 2 walls with just enough room to turn around, but the rest was fine. The futon in the living room was old, hard and not very comfortable, but was really the only piece of furniture to sit on. The kitchen table was pushed into a corner and had to be pulled out to get at the second chair so could sit down. It was very noisy until about 3AM from the road noise due to the close proximity to the highway. TV was poor, stations changed everyday and list provided with channels was not even close to reality. On the positive side, had a good location; onsite short walk to the river; excellent service; nice little heater; comfortable bed; nice porch out front.

After a week of driving, visiting family in Denver, we wanted a place to decompress for a few days during the trip home. Fireside cabins was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was quiet, very clean and well appointed. Check in was easy and the hosts go out of their way to provide you with all the information you need so you can settle in quickly. Both our front porch and the sitting areas by the river were such a relaxing treat. The kitchenette is well equipped for making a small meal. The bed was comfortable, nice shower. Can’t wait to return.
